Phana took the bunch of flowers and inhaled it.
It was smelling lovely, and looking lovely too, just like the girl, whom he was gonna confess today.
And yes, he was dressed too, for the occasion. Wearing a white tee, black pants, and a baby pink blazer, he was looking very dashing.
Not to mention the excellent perfume he was wearing.
He was in for the kill.
Smiling, he sat inside his car and carefully laid the flowers on the next seat.
Hoping, the recipient would be sitting beside him in a few hours.

Phana had just parked the car, and was about to get out, when something caught his eye.
His girl.
No, not yet his, but was supposed to be, after the confession.
Hugging a guy.
And then proceeded to get inside a car with that person.
Phana's heart broke then and there.
Now, she'll never be his.
Was he too late?
Did he read it too much?
Was he wrong?
Looks like it.
What should he do now?
He doesn't know. His mind was blank.
In this blank state, he started his car and drove out of the parking lot.

As he was crossing by some building, he saw two guys arguing.
One of them crying, another one leaving. And the crying one trying to stop the leaving.
He quickly crossed them, and saw from his rear view mirror, the other person snatching his hand and walking away.
A break up?

It was a moment's decision.
Phana didn't knew what he was doing.
Perhaps, he was not thinking at all.
He just followed what his heart told him to do.
He took the next u turn, and drove back.
Back to that crying guy.
And found him sitting on the footpath, sobbing.
Phana stopped the car, got out, and approached the guy.
" Hey are you okay?"
"I am fine", said the guy without looking up.
"You sure?"
"Ya, am fine", said the guy sniffling.
It was his cue to go. But for some strange reason, he didn't felt like it. So instead of leaving, he asked.
" Where do you live. Can you go home?"
At that, the guy looked up. And phana saw, that even while crying, the guy was very cute.
The cute guy analysed him for some time, then said, " I live in sector 4, and I can go home by myself"
" I am going in that direction only. Let me drop you"
" No, thanks"
" Please, I insist"
The cute guy looked at him suspiciously.
"I am Dr Phana, and I work in a public hospital. Please come."
At that, the cute guy nodded his head after few moments and proceeded to sit In the car.
" These are pretty", he commented at the flowers as he sat down at the passenger seat.
" You can have them"
"......."
They sat in silence as phana started driving.
" I didn't get your name"
" Arthit"
Arthit. Phana liked it
" Arthit. Are you feeling ok now?"
" Yeah"
Throughout their journey, they remained silent, and Arthit ultimately stopped sniffling too.
When they reached, Arthit got out thanking him.
"Wait!!", Phana called and quickly followed him.
And handed Arthit a chocolate, smiling a little.
At that, Arthit unexpectedly hugged him, and very softly thanked him.
Phana hugged him back and gently patted his back.
It felt strange.
It felt unfamiliar.
It felt comfortable.
It felt right.
When they pulled apart, Arthit finally managed to give him a light smile.
And at that moment, Phana found him breathtakingly beautiful.
Perhaps, this was the best U turn, he had ever taken.
