I don't really understand why Muzan would want this newborn demon, if I could I'd feel bad for this kid.

Tanjiro's P.O.V :
ugh... As I jolted up I felt a sharp pain
What happened? I had felt a strange presence. It almost made me shiver,
"Your finally awake?" Huh? It's the scent that was in my house. I had immediately fell back as a hand had reached my way. "You know you have great potential, You have kicked the head off of my top demon's. So I'm giving you option. Would you want to join us."
I had gulped
"What happens if I say no?"
"You'll see." His eyes glared daggers at me. It was an indescribable pain. As his peach eyes looked at me. "So what's your option?"
^gulp^
"I-I choose to j-join you."  "I'm glad, I didn't want to have to waste such great potential."
Was he planning to kill me if I said "no"?
"But w-what happened to my family...?"
"You don't need to worry about that."
"W-Wait, what happened to them!" "What did you do to them?!"
"Forget about them, or I'll do it by force." How could I possibly forget about my family?! My own family!
"Looks like I'll have to do this by force."
What? Did he know what I was thinking? What does he mean by force? Tanjiro, Tanjiro calm down. Your Family is fine! I felt my eyes get watery. I didn't think of it before but it was cold there felt like there was no warmth in my body. He had moved a little closer as he put the tip of his knife like nail on my forehead. "Trust me, it won't kill you."
What does he mean? Will this hurt?
As his finger started to drift into my head It felt like a thousand spikes in my head clawed inward. I wanted to scream. I couldn't move, why couldn't I move? What happening with my vision it's too blurry. My vision started to follow black.
