"We are gathered to speak of Hailey today, not your sons," a bald man said sternly with a blank expression.
"You called us together. What is it you want to speak about?" a brown haired woman blinked towards the bald man.
"It's about the baby," the man started slowly. "Something about is going to mess everything up."
"What are you saying?" the woman hissed. "I worked very hard to make sure that baby is perfect."
"Perfect isn't always the answer," the gray haired man in between the two spoke.
"Rorke is a threat to the baby," the bald man pointed out.
"Keegan is protecting them both," the woman snapped. "There's nothing to worry about here."
Getting up to leave the tent, the woman was stopped by the gray haired man. "At least listen to what he has to say."
"It's simple," the bald man cleared his throat. "I'm returning."
Gasping, both of the other two people looked at the bald man. "Are you crazy? You can't!"
"I don't see why not."
"You died in front of the four," the woman hissed. "If you come back, it will ruin the code."
"More than the code will be destroyed if I don't return," the man stood up. "I've decided and I'm going through."
"I wish you luck," the gray haired man put his hand on the shoulder of the bald man. "I understand you're returning for a reason. I'm sure that you are going to fulfill what needs to be done."
Only nodding, the bald man looked out across the land. "I will never forget this place."

Gasping and sitting up, I looked around wide eyed. Keegan and Kick were still asleep and Hesh was keeping watch. I was in the cottage. But it had felt so real, the dream, the meeting.
Trying to connect to Hailey's mind and warn her of my sleep, I failed multiple times. Whatever Rorke was doing to her it was blocking me out completely. I shut my eyes after trying a fourth time and tried to go back to sleep.
He was returning?

Hailey's POV:
"Where are they Hailey?" Rorke gripped my chin roughly.
"I'm not telling you!" I hissed.
"You know where they are. My men searched miles around your base and found nothing. Where are they?"
Spitting in his face, I breathed heavily. My wet hair soaked through my white shirt, showing my bra and belly button. The water was cold, but survivable.
"You still haven't learned my Hailey," Rorke motioned for the two Federation men to dunk me again.
Gasping for breath, I closed my eyes as my head was shoved into the freezing cold water again. Just when I thought I was going to drown- dots were in my vision-the Federation men pulled me back up. I gasped for breath and breathed even heavier. What was that...the tenth time?
"If you really think dunking my head in water is going make me break, you're a dumb-ass!" I spat.
Rorke only smirked and pulled my head forward and close to his. "You'll break eventually."
"I've been through worse," I hissed.
It was true. When I died and came back alive that was a pain that almost nothing could beat, especially seeing the others so upset. Losing Logan for those few moments during the war, caused my unbearable pain. The worst pain out of everything was when Keegan had said he didn't love me. It had felt like thousands of needles hitting my heart, withdrawing, and then attacking with swords three times.
