VII - Sweet Moment

(Sky’s POV)
(Covered Basketball Court)

Jett invite me to play basketball with him. Nodded on him.

Jett and I play one on one. First who score 10 score win. No three points shoots, to be fair.

We made a bet this time. If I lose. We are going out on a date. If I win. He will be my slave for a rest of the day. Fair enough, right?

After playing with him for 30 minutes. He won the game. 10 to 9. He's really good. Every day if he’s practice. He’s will be good as Justin and Owen.

Its been 3 days since my dad go back to Canada. And leave me in Justin's care. But Justin at Manila. He's having a practice. They have a game the day after tomorrow.

Now we are having our lunch at Max's Restaurant. We ordered the same food for each other.

"How about I take you to Sandbox Pampanga?" Jett said.

"It’s that a theme park?" I said.

"Kind of. Buts it’s a surprise."

"Hmmm... Ok..." I said.

I kind of love surprises from my love ones. And it’s fun.

After a long dive we finally make it. Porac, Pampanga. When I see the outside. I kind of scare. It's like I'm having a panic attack. But when he hold my hand.

"I'll be beside you all day." Jett said.

What he says take away my nervous.

"Let's go have fun." Jett said. Then we make our way at the entrance of the theme park.

All day long we takes rides on the theme park. And he was true to his word. He never let me go. I'm happy all day long.

After our little fun, he take me home. When we are couple blocks away from my house. I see Justin’s car. This is going to be a long talk. I sigh.

"Is there a problem?" Jett said.

"Well. Yes. I didn't inform Justin that I'm going out. And this will be a long night." I said. He park in front of my home. I saw the living room have a light on.

"You want me to explain to him?" Jett said.

"No, I got it. I’ll just need to tell the truth." I said.

"Are you sure?" Jett said.

"Yeah" I said.

He get out and open the door for me.

"Good night." Jett said.

"Good night too." I said.

I walk in the front porch. And I saw him get to his car. I open the front door and prepare myself for the consequences of my action.

(Justin’s POV)
(Sky’s House)

Uncle Pierre give me a full access on the house. Except for sky’s room. When I got here, sky is nowhere to be found. It was 9’clock by then.  I called Jai Reyes if he see Sky.

"I saw her with Jett. They we're playing basketball at the morning. That all I know. Because my mom need me at the house. I don't stay too long to watch." Jai Reyes said.

Where could she be?

When it reach 10:00pm. I heard a car park at the house. I go to the window and saw Sky getting out on Jett's Car. She's with Jett all along. Why didn't she say to me. I'm supposed to be her guardian while her father at Canada.

I couldn't forbid her from going out with Jett. At least she could just say.

I sat down at the single sofa. And I heard the door open.

"Hey, Justin." Sky said.

"Do you know what time it is, Sky?" I said.

She look at the clock and choose to look down.

"Its 10:00apm. I’m sorry I didn’t see the clock. Jett just tour me around place. I’m kind of bored here at the house by myself. You were always at the city. That I feel lonely here." She said.

It's feel me guilty. She right. Her dad leave her under my care. But I could take care of her. I have a idea.

"I’m sorry about that. I just got busy on the practice and the game. All you have to asked me where you going and let me know where are you and who is with you. How about, we can ride on the hot air balloon tomorrow?" I said.

I have a friend who is handling the event well.

"Really?" Sky said.

"Yeah. It’s my treat. It’s been a while since we go out" I said

She nodded. And I kissed her on the forehead.

"You go and rest. You are tired all day. Good night."

"Good night too." Sky said. And kissed my cheek. I saw her run to her room.

I sat down the sofa. I know I been absent this past few days. And I want to make it up to her. I love her so much that it’s hurt to see her happy because of some other guy. And now let's make the arrangements for tommorow's date.
