(Sky's POV)
(My Home Backyard)

Justin go to the city to have practice with his teammates and he will return before dinner time. I'm here at the back yard of our house. Justin and I build this hoops. So that we can played with each other. But that's never happen. He still refuse to battle with me. And he always say, you I already won. That nonsense of him. I really want to play against him. Dribbling my ball. Learning new moves. I want to be the best. After I watch the game between Jett team and Justin team. That's end up with a tie after 10mins of playing time. Both team give it the best. They are focus on the game. After the game, they shake hand. And Jett's team leaves.

I shot a formless. Nothing but the net. If you will look at it. You will though it will don't go in. but it will. That's one I learn from Owen. He shot like that.

"Nice one, sweetie" Dad said. He's leaning on the door frame.

"Dad I thought you have a meeting on the Viber. That's why I didn't bother you." I said. Getting the ball.

He gesture to pass the ball and I pass the ball.

"I'm already done with that. I'm how about a shoot out?" Dad said.

He pass me the ball.

"Are you really challenging me, dad? You saw what I can do. And I'm good of it." I said.

"We will see about that." Dad said.

"What can I get when I win?" I said.

Then I pass back it to him. He know, I won't back out on a challenge, when it's comes to basketball.

"Anything you desire." Dad said.

"I accept your challenge." I said.

"Then Game on." Dad said.

We both take turns to shot. Because we only have one ball. And that my ball. After a few shot. I already miss. I didn't mean to miss that. I just got a serious migraine. And it killing me like hell. I'm just ignoring it. Then his shot, sank. I sat on the bench.

"Hey are you ok?" Dad said.

"Yes dad. Just a mild headache." I said.

"Are you sure?"Dad said.

I nodded. Then he nodded too.

"I'm going back to Canada, sky." Dad said.

I shock on what he say. He can't do this to me. I look at her.

"Dad! Why?" I said.

We sat on the bench near the basketball. And he spin the ball in his thumb.

"It's just two week. Don't worry. We're having a crisis there. And my trustee managers can't handle it very well. They really need me there. You know me, Sky. As much as possible I don't want to leave you here. I don't trust people here." Dad said.

"I though you are going to leave me here dad. I'm still scare of being alone. Even Justin is here. When will you go?" I said.

"I'm going to the airport Tomorrow." Dad said.

"Just promise me you will come back." I said.

"I promise. I'll be letting Justin to be your guardian while I'm gone. You have to do whatever he say. And I let his parents know." Dad said.

"Okay Dad." I said.

"I love you sweetie." Dad said. "Take care always"

"I love you too dad." I said.

I hug him with all my might. Basketball really change our lives. Especially mine.

Later on, I decided to go McDonalds, because I'm bored in the house. And I'm hungry.

I walk to the living room I heard dad talking to someone. About business. I peep into his office, I see him having a live video chat with some client. I don't want to bother him. I know he love his work. So I go on by myself. I message my dad that I will be here.

When I get to McDonald. I order to myself, chicken sandwich, medium pineapple juice and Medium fries. Then I sat down. Jett see me.

"Hi." Jett said.

"Hi too." I said.

He sat down in front of me. I see his meal. Fit of a feast.

"You can finish that?" I said.

"Yeah why?" Jett said.

"You have a huge appetite." I said.

"We'll yeah. I have a fast metabolism." Jett said.

I just nodded. We both take a bite on our burgers, like it was meant to be. Fate is really playing with us.

"How are you staying here?" Jett said

"It's fine. I don't yet explore it. What new or not." I said.

"Where's Justin?" Jett said

"He having a practice. They have a game tomorrow. Against Alaska Aces Team, if I remember it right." I said

"I have a practice the day after tomorrow. So I won't be here." Jett said.

"I'm not asking you about that." I said.

"I know. I'm just letting you know." Jett said.

I raised my eyebrow on him. he just smile at me. but inside of me, I'm happy that he let me know.

"What team are you on?" I said.

"Brgy. Ginebra Gin Kings." Jett said.

"Justin, Magnolia Hotshots Team." I said.

I take another bite.

"How about I tour you around place?" Jett saif.

"That would be nice. I love that." I said.

We look at each other eyes. And we are lock in our world. Like nobody exist just the two of us. Then, we are getting to know each other now. About basketball stuff. I kind of like it. I wish this day wouldn't end. But I know it will. I'm just going to spend my time the most of it.
