"So it's bigger on the inside? Like what... Another dimension?" Oswin asked, looking around the interior of the TARDIS.
"That's exactly right... You don't seem too impressed." He grumbled, as he watched her casually glance around the control room.
Every other Clara he had met through his time line had been struck with awe at high beloved ship. She smiled simply and shrugged.
"I'm no stranger to amazing things."The Doctor climbed down the stairs with a cup of tea and a strange looking vile.
"What's that?"
"Tea and a sleeping elixir. Iv got a sick friend in the back... Be right back." He started for the corridor opening.
"Is it a lady friend?" Oswin called over her shoulder.
"Sorta... A short bossy one!" He called back.
The princess let out a loud chuckle.
"I should leave you in a jealous rage you pig!" She hollered teasingly over her shoulder. The time lord rolled his eyes as he set off to his companion's room.
When he reached it, he didn't bother knocking before gently pushing it open with his foot.
The room was like a refrigerator, and the only light offered was coming from the cracked door of the bathroom.
Clara laid in a miserable heap atop the queen sized bed.
"Clara? I brought tea. It's hazelnut. Better then that rubbish you usually drink." He quickly added the elixir and dropped the bottle in his pocket slyly.
Clara rolled over onto her back with a groan. Hair matted in every which way. Pajamas wrinkled terribly."I like my rubbish." She grumbled.
"Just drink." He ordered quietly.
Still half conscious, she took the mug in her clammy hands and sipped at the funny smelling concoction.
The moment she was able to detect the elixer, she coughed and spit back in disgust.
"What kind of nasty alien tea did you giv-" she exclaimed before it took effect. The mighty impossible girl flopped back down on the bed... Out cold with a considerably loud snore.
"Good to know this is all it takes to shut her up." he mused.**************************
"Dose that noise mean we've landed?" Oswin asked.
The Doctor gestured for her to check outside.
She pushed the little police box doors open and was welcomed by the view of her home.
An ancient kingdom that grew across a mountains cliffside in domed towers and colorful lights.
A humble but powerful empire. The main palace stood slightly higher than the rest at the base of the cliff. The glass dome it adorned was easily the largest in the city.
"Quite the place you've got here."
"Isn't it?" She smiled.
She would not let this beautiful place fall under the influence of her sister. It just wasn't going to happen.
Not with a certain time lord on her arm.
