"Come in!" Blair responded to the knock on her door.

Strolling in comfortably, the Doctor could see the young princess sitting on a large plush chair in front of a tall vanity.

"Oh it's you." She wrinkled her nose.
He didn't dignify her with a proper response.

"Come to gloat?"

He shook his head no.

This time she looked strait to him through the reflection of the mirror.
"Or perhaps you're hear to tell me the truth. That you have no intentions of marrying my sister... That you don't really love her." She almost spate the words.

"No to all that.
Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." He quipped.

Standing now to face him, her expression was blank. "Come to kill me?"

He looked at her as though she were stupid. "Of corse not! What are you daft?! The moral high ground is mine lass.....
Now your sister on the other hand... I'd be a bit concerned."

Blair rolled her eyes at the mention of her sister. "I'm not scared at all of my sister."

The time lord lured forward, pacing through the room like a shark.
"Foolish.
I happen to know you have lied to her.
Deceived her.
Threatened everything she loves and holds dear...
... That's enough to make anyone dangerous." He growled his a deep, Scottish burr.

!beep !beep !beep !beep !beep!

Blair nearly jump out of her skin at the sudden beep of an alarm.

Looking down at his watch, the Doctor grinned knowingly.
"Princess I do believe you ought to be properly terrified."

Blair's face was strained hard as stone, trying desperately to hide the fear in her eyes.
"A-and why is that?"

"The sleep elixir has worn off."

"So wait... You kissed him?!" Clara exclaimed in bewilderment. She wasn't discussed... Just curious.

"No!" Oswin retorted. "He kissed me... Then I kissed him... We didn't have a choice... Empire was at stake remember?" She sputtered trying to explain herself

"Quit explaining yourself I'm not mad... Just curious." Clara relayed as casually as possible.

The two walked in always silence for a while before Oswin broke it.
"He thinks very highly of you."

"I know."

"I don't think you do."

Clara couldn't bring herself to look at the princess. Arguing with herself was to strange for this kind of day.
"Look... Iv known the Doctor longer then you have... So don't tell me I don't know something when I do... I'm really not above slapping a face that looks just like my own." She shot back defensively.

The witty response she was expecting didn't come.
"Oswin?" Clara asked, turning to look beside her.

She was gone.

"Oswin?!" She called louder, looking all around.

"Clara!!" She heard her scream from back down the hall.

Clara sprinted as fast as her heels would take her until she found the princess.
A tall young man had his hands clenched around her throat and shoulder. Oswin kicked and squirmed in his grasp but couldn't break free.

Looking for resources, Clara thought quickly, pulling a torch from its post on the wall... And with all her might, swung in into the man's head.
Releasing Oswin, he stumbled backward until he hit a wall, then fell limp to the floor.

"Who the hell was that?!" Clara asked the panting princess by her side.

"My sister's fiancé."

The two cautiously stepped forward to get a better look at the unconscious man.
The skin on the left side of his head had been melted away by the torch, revealing a mettle beneath.
"He's a... Robot." Clara mused.

"Cyborg... You have no clue how much this explains." Oswin took the torch from Clara's hands, and commenced to searing the rest of the artificial flesh from the head, until there was nothing but a metal skull.

"What are you doing?!" Clara asked as she watched the princess retch the skull from the body with a few short circuited sparks.

"Collecting some evidence."
