ordinary life

Back then, I was turning 18 and truly understood something important.

History has proven that there are two types of girls in high school:

Pretty girls who are popular and those who are not.

My name is Lillie Wells and I'm the ones who are not pretty and popular.
I'm your average high school student.

If you're a guy, let me tell you a story of an ordinary girl who you've never bothered to care about:

The biggest dream us ordinary girls had was to meet our idols. We would always imagine they are our boyfriend.

But aside from our imagination about our idol boyfriends..

There is always a boy in school who the entire school adored, Chase Rivera.

They are always basketball players and a "secret" crush for every girl in school.
We can giggle for the whole day just from a look from him.

Everyday in my school, love depended on the amount of love letters are hidden in your lockers.
Of course Addison, the pretty and popular girl has a mountain of love letters in her locker.

Everytime in lunch breaks we watch Addison open her locker and all the love letters would fall to the ground.
How I wish to have my locker like that.

"Dear all, can you please stop helping those idiots send love letters to our Addison? Everyday she struggles getting her books by these letters"
Vivian, Addison's friend announced while holding up some of the letters Addison recieved.

This kind of orginary, simple life I had was turned upside down by that very letter I found in my locker.

When I saw my name "To: Lillie Wells" written on that scented rose paper, I had to read it.
But it wasn't a love letter, it was..a chain mail?

I have to send it to 4 people.
If I throw away the letter and not send it to 4 people, my future can be ruined.

I have to send it, but to who?

The first person I wanted to send the chain letter was my brother, Leo Wells.
The reason is that he's literally my parent's favorite but if I send him the chain letter his family will suffer but I would also suffer, so I discarded that idea, therefore I sent him the first letter.

I gave the second letter to Addison Tharp. It's definitely not because I envy her for her beauty or popularity, not even because she's the only girl who would catch Chase's attention. It's simply because she lives next door.

There is a bad boy in every school. Jorge Griffin.
Rumor has it that he kills people.
He talks bad to innocent people like Chase. Therefore, I gave him the third letter.

Everyone has a psycho teacher who no one likes. Miss Trunchbull (ehem Matilda) No one likes her in general, so I gave her the last letter and now the bad luck are bestowed on them.
