I was in class talking to my friends until Miss Trunchbull went in the classroom, the little chats suddenly became silent.
Miss Trunchbull didn't say a word for a while until she bursted.

"Who wrote this?" She said holding up the letter I gave her.

No one answered her question.

"CURSING OTHERS WITH THESE STUPID CHAIN LETTERS?!?!" She shouted making all of us flinch.

Still, I didn't have the courage to confess in front of everyone.

"Turn yourself in if you have done it" she said finally more calm which gave me the opportunity to talk to her.

"I-I know who sent the letter" I said.

"May you tell me who sent it?" She replied.

"It was me" someone said entering the office.

It was Jorge. He's taking the blame. I sighed in relief

"Good. Ms. Wells you may now leave" Ms. Trunchbull said.

I just thanked her and she started yelling at Jorge. I feel bad for him but it's his decision to stand up for me.

I went to my locker and I saw a note.

"MEET ME IN THE BOOKSTORE 5PM -JORGE"

So I went, we were looking around the books. There was an awkward until I broke it.

"Thank y-you" I said looking up at him.

"No problem. That's what friends are for, to stand up for you." He said.

"If one letter was sent to me, one to Miss Trunchbull and one to your brother, who had the last one?" He asked.

I really didn't want to answer his question but I still did.

"A-Addison Tharp" I whisphered but loud enough for him to hear me.
He looked at me like he was about to beat me up. I got scared by his action.

"B-but I-I regret it now, so that's why you should work hard to get her." I said trying to fix the problem.

"Can you give me any tips?" He said calmly which made me feel relieved.

"Let's see, girls like her needs enough of compliments. Why not write bad things about her to catch her attention?" I said.

"Are you sure?" Jorge complained

"Yes, and conclude it with: "But still.." I stopped and we went closer to each other, we stared at each other's eyes for a while until I broke the silence.

"But still, I like you a lot Addison" I ended my pep talk.

We started getting close to each other until I panicked and ran to a book aisle full of poems near me and I took a book. (ha akala mo noh HAHAHAHA okok continue reading)

"Hey, d-don't qoute lyrics if you have no idea. You can quote foreign poets." I said holding up the book I took.

"Are you sure? No one's going to understand it" Jorge complained.
