The Mystery of the Missing Scarf

Everyone woke up. Mom needs to go to work but it is really chilly so she's going to wear her red white and blue scarf. She heard a sound, it was from the basement.

"Is that my scarf?" said Mom. She looked in the basement. "No, it's just my husband working on the car."

"Honey what are you doing down here?" asked Dad.

"I'm looking for my scarf!"

"I think the dog took it and is wearing it." said Dad.

"Where is the dog?" asked Mom.

"I think he's in the kids room," said Dad.

So she went to the kids room and Dad was right the dog is wearing her scarf and it's still on. So Mom had the scarf and went off to work.
