Party Time!

The day of the party, Manuel goes to Frida's apartment and sees if she needs help.

"Can you lift those boxes and take them to the back room?" She asks. He carries the boxes to the room she directed him to.

He walks back to the main room and sets up her tv after she asked. Frida leaves to get snacks, condiments and utensils for the party. Manuel makes the room neat and orderly, despite the fact that it's gonna get messy, knowing Frida. She gets back and starts setting up the food table. Manuel starts helping her set up chips and drinks. While they were setting it up, their hands rub against each other's, they pull their hands back and look at each other. Frida's face flushes while Manuel mutters something about putting up decorations. He blushed too, but tried his best to hide it. Frida finishes the food and drinks then goes to set up the music.

After they finish, Manuel goes to change, for his clothes had gotten dirty helping Frida. He changes to white and yellow polo t-shirt, dark jeans with a belt and dress shoes. When he gets back, there's a group of people standing in front of her door. People start flooding into the room. Hhm, Frida still has her party instincts. He thinks to himself. Especially since she barely knows anyone here.

"Welcome to the party!" She yells at the top of her lungs. She was wearing her signature goggles, a white t-shirt and red skinny jeans with black suspenders and black boots. People walk by handing potted plants, movies and some gave a simple card.

"This is a nice party, so far. It would be more fun if Grandpapi and Panthera were here." Manuel says comically. Frida punches him.

"It would be." Someone knocks on the door. "I'll get it." She opens the door to see another guy standing there. "Anders, what are you doing here?"

"I came to see if girlfriend was getting settled in the city.  And by the looks of this party, you did." He replies.

"I want you to meet someone." she says pulling him in to the room. "Anders, this is Manny,  Manny meet Anders, my boyfriend."

"S'up." he says.

"Uh, s'up." Manny replies a little uneasy. Frida walks away to do something else, leaving him standing awkwardly with Anders. "So, do you live in the city?"

"Nah, I live back in Miracle City, I just came to see if baby girl is fine." He answered. At Baby Girl Manuel's teeth started to grind. 

"Oh, look at the time, I have to get back home, have work tomorrow.  You know how having a job is like."

"Actually, I don't, I've never had a job."

"Well then, see ya." Deadbeat.  I walk away saying bye to Frida and heading to my apartment.
