Chapter 2. Big apple, small ponies

In the city of New York, in a house on a small neighborhood lived a man named Michael Felps. In the house, right now, he was asleep in his bed with a whole bunch of drawings of what seemed to be toy ideas. Michael had brown curly hair, a few freckles (barely noticeable), and is 27 years old. Suddenly, as his alarm clock began ringing (it was 8:15 and the day was December 22), he groaned as he (without looking) slaps his hand on his side table drawer hoping to hit the snooze button. After he did this, he put his hand back in his bed. After a few moments, Michael, in a flash, woke up and started smacking himself in the face, hoping that'll snap some sense into him to wake himself up." Ok. Ok. I'm awake. I'm awake.... But it won't be alright that I'm late!" Said Michael as he starts running into his closet and puts on his work cloths as fast as he can. Halfway dressed, he starts preparing his coffee machine and puts a jimmy dean breakfast sandwich into the microwave and begins putting on his shoes. Suddenly, he hears a beeping noise from the coffee machine. As quick as he can he puts sugar, and a little bit of milk into a mug and starts pouring the coffee in as well and starts stirring it. He began drinking his coffee and would tie his shoes when he stopped drinking. He finished his breakfast sandwich when it was done, packed his briefcase with all of his working supplies, and heads toward the door. But stops as if he forgot something." What is it? What is it? What is it?" He said swiftly and wonder. Then he looked down at his shirt. He wasn't wearing a work shirt on." An under shirt!? I really have to slow down sometimes." As Michael was running out of his house, he accidentally runs into his neighbor, and drops open his briefcase (all the supplies is now on the ground)." Oh I am so sorry, are you ok Michael?" Asks his neighbor Lisa." No, no, it's my fault. I was in a rush. I'm sorry." Said Michael as he picks up all of his working papers and his other working supplies as Lisa helps him out. When they were done, Michael put the supplies for work into his briefcase, and both of them get up." So anyway, I'm free tomorrow on Sunday night, and founded this new sushi restaurant just a few blocks away. I was wondering, would you like to come there with me?" Asked Michael." Michael Felps, are you asking me to go on a date?" Said Lisa with a little smile." Well, what would you say?"" I say let's go. It'll be a great experience for two neighborly friends." Said Lisa. Michael, however, wanted to go with her as more than friends." Ok. Well, I'll see you soon." Said Michael." See ya." Said Lisa as she goes back to jogging and Michael hurries into his garage and got into his car. It was a normal day in New York City, traffic, bright sun, a little cold, and it turns out that there wasn't any snow (in New York some years usually have snow, and usually some years don't have snow). As Michael stopped for a second in front of a red light his smart phone (a Galaxy s5) was ringing. He picked up the call and connected his phone to the car so that he can talk to whoever was calling on the car speaker." Hello?" Said Michael." Where are you?" Asked the caller." Don't worry, I'm almost there. Sorry if I make it late there in this traffic." Said Michael " Don't worry, you'll make it." Said the voice on the phone." I hope so." Said Michael as he continues to drive. Suddenly, a little far away from where Michael was at, in an ally, a poof of dust (as if it was magic, which it was) appeared and revealed what seemed to be a man with a blue face." I hate it that teleportation usually takes a while to work!" Said the blue faced man who surprisingly seemed to be the Titan troll, gleeto. As he exits the ally, he saw his surroundings, looking with interest on the City of New York." Ah, so this is the world that will allow me to use the elements of harmony. It is time to rule everything that I desire!" Said gleeto as he reaches into the pocket of his dark blue tunic and doesn't find the elements in there at all." What? I lost them!? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!?" Said gleeto in rage. Until suddenly, he remembers." NO! I remember now! I dropped the elements of harmony while I was still in the portal to this ridiculous world. That means they're around this world, in this here kingdom (he means the city)! GAAAAGH!!! It'll take me too long to look for the elements!" Said gleeto as a mother and a nine year old girl passes by." Look mommy, I founded treasure. A beautiful treasure." Said the little girl with glee." That's nice dearie." Said the little girl's mom while on her phone as the little girl held what looked like a little gold necklace that had what looked liked a light blue balloon shaped gem." The element of laughter!" Said gleeto as he tried to sneak up to the little girl and snatch it. But when his hand touched it, the little girl turned and backed up after seeing gleeto's face." Were you trying to steal my treasure?" Asked the little girl." Hand over the element of laughter! Or suffer the consequences!" Said gleeto. The little girl, who was scared, turned to her mother." MOMMY! MOMMY! THIS BLUE FACED GUY WAS TRYING TO STEAL MY TREASURE!" Said the little girl as her mom turns around and notices gleeto as well." How dare you try to steal something that isn't yours!" Said the mother. Gleeto was now furious." YOU DON'T HAVE THE AUTHORITY OF TELLING THE GREAT TITAN TROLL GLEETO WHAT TO DO!" Said gleeto as he began having his palm face the little girl and her mom as if he was going to do a spell, but nothing happened. Confused, he kept on doing it and still didn't work." Can it be? That this world has disabled me of using my powers!?" Said gleeto in rage." You leave my daughter alone, or I'm calling the police on you!" Said the little girl's mother." The police?" Said gleeto in question. But before the girl was leaving with her mother, she said to gleeto" You big meanie!" and kicked him in the leg (which hurt really bad to him) and he began holding his leg because of the pain.
