Nicole’s P.O.V.

When Mitch and Jerome left, we all decided to go out to eat.

“So, where to?” Adam asked, cranking the car up. We all decided to squish into one car, rather than wasting gas using two.

“Lost Pizza!” Ty said, pumping his fist in the air.

“I’m fine with that,” Sarah replied, trying to not move much. She was squished in between Jason and Ian, and you could see the blush spreading across her face.

“I am too,” I agreed, not taking my eyes off Sarah, my eyes sparkling mischievously. She gave me a questioning glance, but then got distracted by trying not to fall on top of Ian while we turned. The next turn, I leaned a little too far, causing Jason to push Sarah into Ian’s lap. Jason and I watched their mortified faces, bursting into laughter.

“Y-your faces!” I laughed, pointing at them. Sarah quickly scrambled off of Ian as best as she could in the crowded car and glared at me, her face glowing red.

“Thanks,” she snarled.

“You’re welcome,” I smirked. Ian just smiled, looking out of the window.

When we got to Lost Pizza, we all piled out of the car, causing people around us to stop and stare. It made sense. Eight people just literally fell out of a tiny car that should only hold five. Adam and Ty walked in the front of the group, holding hands and chatting about random things. When we entered the building, we realized there was almost no one there. Two families were off to the side, but that’s it.

“So, what do we want? Pizza? Other?” Adam said, clapping his hands excitedly.

“Can we get a Hawaiian pizza pleeease?” Jason begged.

“I’m fine with that. Any objections?” Adam asked. No one said anything.

“Great! Go get a table. I’ll order,” he ordered. We walked to the side of the store nobody was at and pushed some tables together in order to get enough seats for everybody. Adam came back with our number and passed all of the cups out.

“G-g-g-g-GRAVEYARD!” Adam screamed, not paying attention to the other people in the restaurant. He then proceeded to go get some of everything in the soda fountain. I watched as Sarah wrinkled her nose, looking disgusted. I smiled at her and she beamed back, positively happy. Once we all got our drinks, we sat back down. A few minutes later, two very delicious pizzas arrived. One was Hawaiian and the other had bacon, sausage, and pepperoni on it. Sitting on the right of me was Jason, and to the left of me was Sarah.

“Well, let’s dig in!” Ty grinned.

I kept glancing at Sarah. It seemed like there was something bothering her, and I was curious to find out what.
