12am
~
I yawned widely and stretched my robust limbs out, I shook my reddish pelt and opened my eyes to see Chica, settled in the Cove.
"Ahoy! Ye best have a good reason te be waking me up lassie." I laughed.
"Well, we are playing a game if you want to join?" Chica chirped joyously.
"Aye." I nodded, sleepily, "Which game?"
"Man hunt." Her wide violet eyes sparkled.
"What are we wait'n fer?" I smirked, trying desperately to shake the sleep off me.
"This will be fun!Arr, we still have te keep 'n eye on thee guard though, he seems like a nice lad."
"Aye aye cap'n'." Chica attempted her best to pull off off a pirate accent completing her performance with with a solute.
We walked to the curtains, I couldn't help but smile at Chica's exotic voice.
I drew open the curtains, the security camera was flicked off, Mike was probably just like any guard on their first night, unaware. He was probably thinking it would be a breeze, I hope he was right. We slipped into the West Hall
"Where to cap'n'?" Chica tilted her head.
"Te dining area?" I suggested.
"Hmm, sounds good, there might be food in there as well, so win win." She nodded. "Just be quie-"
I sprinted down the hall, my feet clashed against the tile as I raced towards the dining hall, I grabbed Chica's wrist and dragged her along.
Chica shook her head at me, laughing.
"Who is it?" I questioned as we neared the dining area.
"I believe it's Freddy." Chica considered, ruffling her bib that read 'Let's Eat.'
We reached the dining area and entered.
"Maybe we could hide under a table?" I suggested.
"We won't be able to get out fast enough, if they find us, we are as good as caught, I don't think even your speed could help us."
I took another step in. The room was dark, but I could make out the several tables, there were still some colourful leftover party hats and plates, but other than that, the cleaning lady had done her job. We traveled in further and started to examine the area.
"Do ye smell that?" I asked, my lips curled as I flipped my eyepatch down onto my eye.
"Yes." Chica smiled graciously, as she lifted a box of leftover pizza.
"No, not that." I confirmed, "Arr, I think someone 'tis in here."
"I don't hear anyone, nor smell." She answered, half listening, as she mauled the pizza with her angular beak.
"I don't like this, let's go te another room." I suggested. "Ye should leave thee pizza, they will smell-"
"The pizza comes, or I don't." Chica answered.
"Okay, fine." I caved.
My ear tuned to the sound of a chair scraping the floor.
"Someone 'tis here! Run fer thee halls!" I growled in shock, picking up Chica in one smooth movement. I sprinted as fast as I could and didn't even bother to look back, I could hear footsteps, but they soon died down. We were in the kitchen.
