so, it was 7:53 pm. the O'Neal & Durant family were coming out of the Crossroads High School gym. shaqir went home quite sad due to losing to sierra canyon that night. everyone went their separate ways after saying goodbye.

" coming" me'erah screamed from her couch
" hey z" she said opening the door for zarah
" hey, what'd you text me for" zarah questioned
" shaqir" me'erah said
" what about him" zarah asked
" he's pressed about losing the basketball game and shareef isn't here to do all that comforting stuff" me'erah explained
" why cant you talk to him" zarah asked
"no" me'erah replied
" so why do I have to talk to him" zarah said
" because your his like day 1 and soo" me'erah said
" but youre his sister" zarah said with a confused face
" zarah, stop asking questions and go talk to the boy" me'erah said towering over the 5'4 girl
" fine" zarah sighed
so zarah headed up the stairs to shaqir's room. she creaked open his door only to see shaqir on his bed facing the wall with his airpods in, throwing a basketball into the air. she opened the door all the way, shaqir seeing her but not acknowledging her presence.
"hey" zarah said
" what's up" shaqir said monotony
" sooo, how you doin" zarah said leaning on his closet wall
" chillin" he replied dully
"ummm, how's life" she said awkwardly going to sit on his bed
" look, if me'erah called you cause she thinks that im pressed over my basketball game, im not so you can stop worrying" shaqir said taking out his airpods
" but you did good, pooh" zarah said
" thanks" he replied
" how you feel" zarah said
" like I could've done way better" he said
" well it's just one game, pooh" she said softly
" whatever man" shaqir said
" want me to make you feel better" she said smiling
" nah" he said suspiciously
but before shaqir could reach for his basketball, zarah jumped on him attacking his face with kisses.
" girl chill" shaqir said grinning from ear to ear
" or what?" zarah said looking him in his eyes
" just chill" he said smiling
" nah" zarah said continuing to kiss his face
" alright then" shaqir said grabbing her chin softly and placing his lips on hers
