Alec woke up in the morning on the cold, hard floor in the cage of the library. He looked down at himself and saw that he was naked. He was used to this now. He looked up and saw that the cage door was open. He stood up and stretched his sore muscles. The one thing he would never get used to was the feeling of his bones breaking over and over again and his skin ripping from his body, shaping into the form of a wolf. He grabbed his clothes off of the stand and put them on. He found his Uncle Giles in the office of the library reading a book. Like always.

"Good morning, Alec. How are you feeling?" Giles asked, concerned for his only nephew.

"I feel like I've been threw a blender but I'm used to it by now. Is there any coffee?" Alec asked. He sniffed the air and followed his nose to a fresh cup of coffee that was on the table. God knows he was going to need it to survive the school day.

He knows Buffy was suspicious of him. He wasn't very careful hiding his special gifts. Jumping twenty foot high fences, breaking metal locks and sniffing out vampires. You'd think by now he would of learned to be more discrete about being a werewolf. He had been a werewolf since he was fourteen. He was walking home one night and the beast had come out and bitten him. He was lucky he didn't die. He was strong, fast and vicious. The cage door at the library barely holds him but he can't risk hurting someone.

He had spent many full moons blacked out, waking up the next morning and not knowing what he had done while in his wolf form. His eyes turn a vibrant golden color and his fur is a pitch black color.

He wanted to tell her. Buffy's the slayer though, so that can either be a very good thing because he won't ever have to lie to her or it can be a very bad thing because he's the thing she hunts. He'd like to have someone other the Uncle Giles to talk about being a werewolf with. How would he bring that up in a conversation though. Oh and by the way Buff I'm a werewolf. Wanna go get some lunch?

He was sitting down at the table in the library with his head on the desk when he heard the library doors open. He looked up and what he saw made his jaw drop. Buffy stood there in her cheerleader outfit and seeing her in that made his pants feel a bit tighter. "Wow Buff you look good." He said licking his lips. Buffy looked down at her outfit and he could smell the blood rush up to her cheeks.

Giles on the other hand was not to pleased with what he saw when he came out of his office. "Um, I'm going to get more coffee." Alec said getting up and walking passed Buffy. "Good luck." He whispered to her before leaving.

"This is madness. What could you have been thinking? You are the slayer. Lives depend upon you. I make allowances for your youth, but I expect a certain amount of responsibility. Instead of which, you enslave yourself to this colt." Giles said to Buffy he wasn't happy hearing that she was trying out to be a cheerleader.
