Probably short, sorry guys, I told you I had exams, so don't shout at me, I warned you!

Thanks for your support once again,

“Blake, do you mind if I have a quick word?”

Blake groaned internally.

His woman was waiting upstairs for him, probably naked and now he had to endure a “hands off” talk from her big brother?

“Sure James, whatever you want.” He ran a hand through his hair, leaning against the breakfast bar.

“Look, I know you and my sister have a thing going on and I’m happy for you both, really I am...”

“I sense a ‘but’ coming here.” Blake said

James rolled his eyes, “But, my sister has been through a hell of a lot, especially with guys. There was that pr*ck Bradshaw for starters, she’s not properly over him yet. Have you seen the scars?”

“No,” he shook his head, “Not yet, are they bad?”

“I don’t know about now, but they were Blake, I’ve never seen anything like it in my life, it was like something out of a horror movie.”

Blake winced, “That bad, huh?”

James nodded, “After that there was some pompous idiot, Will Baines who treated her like dirt. She hasn’t had anyone serious since then. Then you come along and BOOM, she’s talking about you non-stop. She’s obviously head over heels for you and I don’t want her getting hurt again. She’s had her heart broken too many times. I’m her older brother for goodness sake, I’m meant to be looking out for her.”

“Look James, I’m gonna be completely honest with you here. I’ve been in love with your sister since I was eight years old and I would never, ever hurt her. I’d protect her with every fibre of my being. And if this Bradshaw guy comes back, I will rip him limb from limb. Understand?”

James smiled, “Oh, I understand completely. Thank you for your time Blake.”

“Anytime. James? This whole best man thing and the bachelor party?”

“Yes?”

“Let’s just say my little black book is crammed full of contacts of the female persuasion if... you know what I mean.” Blake winked

James grinned, slapping him on the shoulder, “You absolute beauty...”

Blake shrugged and smiled, “I do what I can.”

“I think that you and my sister are going to work out just fine.”
