Varia was thrown down and the boy let go of her wrist. He was 19, the same age as Varia and she flinched as he puled out a gun. Jack grabbed him from behind and choked him and knocked him out. Varia grabbed his hand and lead him to the bus.
"J-Jack?"
Jack holds her hands,
"I-well, I'm trans, I'm like you!"
Jack hugs him.
"Can you call me Varian?"
Jack smiles and nods.
"Of course!"
Varian hugged him as the bus drove away.

Jack was keeping watch as Varian fell asleep and he could hear the music coming from Varian's headphones and hummed along with it. He wrapped his jacket around him and looked out the window.
"Mmh, Where are we going?"
"Canada, we will be safe there, there aren't any laws against us there. Theres only laws against us for this Country."
Varian nodded and started his watching shift. Jack soon fell asleep. He pulled his phone out and researched their kind. He didn't find much then they stopped and got off. Jack read a sign that said Canada: Saskatchewan
"We made it!"
Jack hugged him and smiled. They held hands and walked down the road to a hotel.
