Chapter 5 - Back To Square One

CLASS - SUKI'S POV

I was a lot less tired thanks to Katsuki letting me sleep during lunch.

After school we were going to the amusement park, so I'm glad I'm not still tired.

Bakugo was in a sour mood at the end of lunch but when I asked him what was wrong he got mad at me.

' "Come on wake up."

I sat up slowly and yawned. I felt rested but I wished I could sleep more.

"Hurry up jeez. You're always so slow." Katsuki growled at me.

"Are you okay?" I asked him as I stood up.

"I'm fine."

"It's just...you seem upset."

"Well I'm not so drop it!"

"I was just trying to help Bakugo no need to get defensive." I crossed my arms and we walked to class in silence. '

He tried to apologise multiple times but I ignored him. He probably thought I was mad but I wasn't really. I was just annoyed, he didn't have to be so mean, I just wanted to make sure he was okay.

I looked back at him from my seat. He met my gaze and we stared at each other for a minute. I smiled. He smiled back. I turned back to the teacher and started writing down the notes on the board that I missed.

Jiro tapped my shoulder behind me. I turned around and she handed me a folded note that was written on a piece of paper that had been ripped off the corner of a bigger piece. She gestured towards Katsuki to tell me it was from him. I smiled thanks and took the note and turned back around.

I opened the note and covered it with my math paper so I wouldn't get anyone in trouble for passing notes. I looked at it under my paper.

Hey, sorry for how I acted after lunch. I was just upset because Kaminari and Mineta were being weird. Please don't be mad at me :(

I frowned a bit at the reason he was mad but smiled at the way he asked me not to be mad at him. Katsuki was really sweet when he wanted to be. I folded the note back up and stuffed it in my bag.

I sighed quietly and paid attention to the teacher. There wasn't a lot of time left of class thankfully but I still couldn't wait to get out of here.

Finally class was over. I was packing up my things when Kaminari and Mineta came up to me.

"Hey Suki." They greeted me.

"Hey."

"If you're gonna be weird you should probably just leave Minoru." Tsu said behind him.

"Oh they're not bothering me." I told her.

"If you say so..." she started leaving the classroom, "I'll be waiting out front for you two."

They waved goodbye and turned their attention back to me, "We should hang out sometime!" Denki suggested.

"You should go on a date with me Suki! It'll be so much fun, I promise!" Minoru exclaimed.

"Er...I don't know.... I don't think I'd want to go on a date with someone I don't like that way..."

Denki wrapped his arm around my shoulder, "Awe but come on! Maybe you'll like me after our first date." He pulled me closer to him, "I can be a real gentleman you know."
