THE NEXT DAY - SUKI'S POV
Bakugo tried massaging me all last night...I ended up putting him on silent, but that didn't stop me from watching his texts pop up.
I wanted to answer him, I wanted to text him back, tell him I was sorry and invite him to my dorm again. I was crying...tears flooding my face as I sat there watching his messages appear on my phone.
' I'm sorry...I know that you were just worried about me. I know that you're mad. I know you wanted me to just be careful, you're right, we don't know how strong those guys were. But I couldn't just walk away after what they said to you, I was mad and I know me saying sorry isn't going to change how you feel but I am sorry. Hell I don't even know if you'll get this...well I hope you're okay. '
I turned off my phone after that. I had to ignore him, prove to him that I didn't need him all the time. I needed some time away from him so that I could teach him that I wasn't his. If he kept up the possessive attitude I don't think I'll ever be "his".
I know that he was just trying to protect me...that's not what I'm mad about... I'm mad because he didn't take into consideration how worried I was about him. Those guys could have been dangerous, we had no idea what they're quirks were, assuming they had quirks, and we're just kids. I know Bakugo is strong, but I don't want him to get hurt.
I felt Jiro tap on my shoulder behind me. I turned around and she handed me a note and signaled towards Bakugo to tell me it was from him. I took it, wrote, "leave me alone" on it and told her to hand it back to him. I heard Kirishima say something to him and laughed a bit.
"Is something funny?" Cementoss asked us all.
"No." Bakugo said flatly.
"Okay then stop laughing." He went back to the lesson.
I hated this class sometimes, modern literature was so boring.
I felt a piece of paper hit the back of my head, I looked behind me. I met Bakugo's gaze. He gave me a surprised look as if saying, "Oh my god! She actually turned around!" I flipped him off.
"She flipped me off." Bakugo cut off the teacher standing up at his desk.
"He threw something at me!" I objected, also standing at my seat.
"Well she was passing notes." He glared at me.
"I was giving you back your dumb note that you passed to me!"
"I bet you didn't even read it!"
"I didn't! You know why? Because anything that comes out of your mouth is stupid!"
"Oh right! You mean like yesterday? That wasn't stupid, what you said was stupid!"
"At least I didn't try and get myself killed!"
It was clear that everyone in the classroom was uncomfortable from the yelling.
"Okay you two...to the principal's office."
Bakugo and I left the classroom and headed to the principal's office. We were quiet for the whole walk there. The last thing I wanted to do was get into another argument. At this point I was sure he hated me, but I didn't hate him. I was mad sure, but there was nothing that could make me hate him completely.
We got to the principal's office. We sat next to each other, Mr. Principal in front of us.
"Your guys' behavior in class was completely unacceptable. Being disruptive and yelling in the classroom. I should send you guys home for the day."
