Alex didnt go back to school until two days after she settled in. She took the time to get to know her guards. It helped her get a feel about them,how they acted and thought.yet the pair were still a mystery to her but she was ok with that.
Demitri dropped her off at school instantly gaining everyone's attention. Many avoided eye contact while there were a view that followed behind her. Those that viewed themself as her 'friend's. She could care less about any of them. They were nothing but entertainment
"Alex" Alice squealed skipping up to her.
"You do realize I dont like you right" she asked glaring at her then at Jasper who walked up behind his mate.
Alice smiled instantly vanished. "Yeah I know but can we talke.its important"
"About....?"
"Victoria"
Up one hearing her name Alex frowned "fine, I'll be at your place after class,just let me inform my watchdogs slash babysitters of what I'm doing" she says glaring at her.
She havent forgotten the way Alice snitched on her in Italy. It was low, too low for her liking. She left the room and texted Demitri that she was going to the Cullens after school. She knew they didnt trust them hell she didnt even trust them but she needed to know what was going on.
Alex went about her day with ignoring everyone like always. At the end of school she followed Rosalie to her car and got in. Nothing was said to one another even if Emment tried to lighten the tension in the air with jokes. Nothing he said work.
Once at the house Alex stood by the door while everyone else took a seat.
"Talk" she commanded
The cullens glanced at one another before Alice stood up. "Victoria is back and shes after Bella,maybe even you" she explains.
"What you want me to do about it" she asked rolling her eyes annoyed
"I consider myself safe since the little trip to Italy that went wonderful by the way" she says sarcastically while putting on a fake smile that everyone saw through
"Just d ok not tell your guards" Rosalie says giving her pointed look. Others glared at her but Alex smiled. That was the reason she liked her. She told it how it is and didnt beat around the Bush. Well now she disliked her considering everything that happened
"Rosalie " Edward snapped
"No let her finish. Unlike you all she dont beat around the bush. Your wasting my time shes not." Alex says glaring at Edward who looked taken aback
"Alice has been watching other decisions. Alex and Demitri may be stationed in town while you say with us.your other guards will be postponed." Rosalie explains
"Its a big leap of faith for them to allow you with us. They dont trust us much" Carlisle added on worried.
"Great just what I need. I'll be stuck with you all." Alex looked at Alice. "When will this happen"
Alice smiles at her. "Tomorrow but only because Aro made the decision today. We only get one shot at this. Bella is off at the res and the wolves are helping with patrol for her."
"This may turn into a fight so practice starts tomorrow with the wolves. Your coming of course to watch" Esme says
Alex shook her head. "Not happening and you all know it. I'll be fine tomorrow by myself while you all practice" she snaps walking to the door.
"You cant-"
"Sorry Esme but I can. Unless you all want me to tell my babysitters that I'm most likely getting hunted by a bitch named Victoria then you all will back off". Alex smirked at there surprised faces.
"What you all thought I'll listen to you all after what you did. Your nothing to me so get used to it. I'll see when I see you and not sooner. Remember...my mates are just a phone call away" Alex gave them all one last glance before using the Shadows to teleport home where Demitri waited for her at the door.
"We are leaving tomorrow " he states annoyed
"Yeah I know. I have your numbers if your needed. I'll be at the cullens tomorrow so no worries" she lies walking inside. This was the perfect time to disappear. The cullens are busy and no guards to catch her. She just had to time it just right without without making anyone suspicious
