I woke up to the sound of Cara barking.
"It's the exit!" say I can see the light shining through. We all get out of the water and go out.
"O sweet sunlight." Stranger I mean Corbyn says.
We all separate getting out as the morning walkers look at us funny.
"O no I have to go home!" I say when realization hits me. I'm going to get in so much trouble. "I gotta go." I grab Cara and try to run to get home.
"But how can we talk to you again?" Jonah yells after me.
"It's a small island." I yell back.
I finally get home and gramma is waiting for me.
"Well well well did you have fun doing bad things being out all night?" she says.
"I-" I try to tell her but she cuts me off.
"You know what this means?"
"Yes mam I say going upstairs with my head down. It means no food an I don't get my pain meds. Which right now my leg is killing me.
