"that's right! good job, sunhei!" the light enchantress praised the 11 year old girl as she started on her first ever attempt in luminesence. the streaks of light ghosted over the clear waters. she spun her hands around making the light spiral around her small body, grinning as she did so.

"good jo--oh no," distant crashes were heard from the palace, "the diqiu kingdom and huo kingdom. get inside, sunhei! now!" the light drops back to the water as she was led back into her quarters.

a few hours have passed and sunhei was still alone in her room, the enchantress promised to come back to her but that was 5 hours ago. not long, one of the light kingdom's guardian fairies entered the room.

"princess sunhei," she bowed down to the little princess, curious of what was happening. "the palace is not safe anymore, i was sent to send you to another place, where it is much safer."

"where?" she tilts her head in confusion. "you will know soon, princess. 'till next time!" the fairy sprinkled over a magical dust over sunhei which made her feel lightheaded.

sunhei jolted up from her bed, she once again had the same reccuring dream for about 5 days now. she looked at herself in the mirror, hideous, she mumbled. but she didn't care, it was her birthday she was fabulous otherwise.

she quickly pampered herself, taking her time even though it will cost her another tardiness slip. sunhei was a 1st year college student at xingqian university, she's a ballet major.

as she was taking a shower, she couldn't help but notice the speckles of light by the water. the water ran down her body as it lit up brighter than before. she decides to brush it off, thinking that it was a mere trick of the light.

before leaving the house, she quickly reached for a glass of water. holding the clear glass, she can evidently see the water getting brighter, in shock, she dropped the glass to the floor.

a sudden gush of wind came from the puddle of water as it opens up to a new realm. scared, she tried to cover it with a kitchen towel, but the towel ended up falling into the hole.

a mysterious tattoo appeared on her wrist, lighting up a light shade of lilac. the wind became more intense as sunhei felt herself being sucked into the magical water puddle.

she held on to the counters for support, but her frail arms could not oppose the strong force from the puddle.

she did not expect her 18th birthday to end up this way.
