"What did you find?"
"A girl.."

(Y/N) was taken in by somebody, her new parent.. but what she wasn't expecting was a male with two Antlers. But of course, she didn't care. He saved her life and took her in; as his own, she was cared for and treated. Although not a Faunus, (Y/N) didn't seem to have a problem fitting in with the other Faunus children as she grew up and happily played along with them. But there would always be something wrong. There was no such thing as a perfect story, no such thing as a happy ending. There would NEVER be something that didn't have its problems. Yes, (Y/N) was saved, but she was saved by a member of the infamous White Fang. She never liked the idea of what the White fang had become. At first the White Fang had a good cause. At first. (Y/N) knew damn well that it was too good to be true, but that's far in the future.

Right now, (Y/N) sat in her little hut. She was on her home island, her close friend— Blake was next to her. They enjoyed each other's company, perhaps it's because both of them worked perfectly well with each other. Blake was quiet, but don't be fooled by the girl's silence. She had a strong bite, almost as big as her bark. (Y/N) on the other hand was a self-reserved girl who kept to herself. She cared very much about her studies and would always give other people advice. Well, that's at least how she acted around people she liked or already had a close relationship with. She was courageous, and if anybody even dare tried to harm or diss her friends, she would make them regret the second they laid eyes on her friends. Despite her tiny stature and figure, she could kick ass like it was nothing to her. Of course that depended on her opponent, but she definitely showed other kids who was in charge.

Perhaps it was her quirk that allowed the girl to win such easy battles, but that's what a sore loser would say; (Y/N) didn't need to rely on her quirk to solve problems or to finish fights that she probably didn't even start in the first place. (Y/N) had dreams of attending Beacon. She was more than determined to get into Beacon than she showed, always keeping a stoic or bored expression when Beacon was mentioned by Blake. (Y/N) knew how Adam looked at Blake, but she couldn't put her finger on what was wrong with Adam. She didn't dislike him, she just felt as if something was always off about Adam. She KNEW he was no good, she even tried to tell Blake about how she knew damn well that the boy was nothing more than trouble and that Blake should stay away from the Bull Faunus, but Blake didn't listen, much to (Y/N)'s displeasure. (Y/N) understood that Blake was in love, but she didn't want her friend to get hurt, especially when she knew that there was something off about the boy that Blake had taken interest in.

(Y/N) didn't say anything else since that day though. She simply kept quiet and hoped that Blake would make the right choice. She didn't want to be responsible for anything that Blake felt if something were to happen at the hands of Adam. Or so that's what she kept telling herself. No, it wasn't because she feared Adam Taurus, but it was because every single time she looked into his blue irises, she saw chaotic evil lurking around. Every time he smirked, she knew that it was no innocent grin or smile. She knew under that smile was a psychotic smile disguised by soft doe eyes and a dopey grin. What were to happen if she one day told Blake about how she felt about Adam? Would their friendship be ruined over some boy that Blake so happened to take interest in..? It was this question that truly haunted (Y/N). She was scared to lose her best friend because she couldn't hold her tongue when it came to her own personal opinion about the boy her best friend took interest in.

That wasn't the only thing that she also feared. (Y/N) knew that she would be departing from the island of Faunus soon. No, not because she didn't belong there, the islanders absolutely loved (Y/N) and treated her as their own despite the fact that she did not come from a bloodline of Faunus such as they. It was because (Y/N) was moving to go and attend a school to learn more about huntsmen and huntresses. She actually had family still living near Beacon and she had decided it would be best for her career to go live with them and attend the closest school to learn how to hone her semblance to her best ability along with even designing a weapon. What was a huntress-in-training without a signature weapon? Perhaps she would just enjoy her time with her friends for now, that day where she left to go and explore the lives of huntsmen and huntresses in training would come soon. Soon was faster than she expected. The next thing (Y/N) knew, she was in the arms of her friends and adoptive father saying her goodbyes as she departed from the island and made her way to where her future would begin. The future that she wasn't prepared for.

"Watch our world.. (Y/N) is here to take you all by storm and become the next best huntress that you will ever see. Just you wait.. I'll make my parents proud, I'll make sure their deaths were not in vain and the sacrifice my father made to protect me will not be for nothing. I will succeed. I AM UNSTOPPABLE!"

Despite where you come from or what has happened in your lifetime, if you keep an open mind and constantly strive, you will succeed. Remember this.

I'm proud to say that I, Godegg, am now off of hiatus!
