〔 Author's note 〕
Hello readers. I hope you're enjoying everything so far. I'll hopefully be more active. I'll also be deleting all old chapters so expect the chapter count to go down. Thanks for reading despite all the.. questionable plots I've written in the past.Oh, also, I'm going to be putting a key here so that anybody knew to reader based stories will understand what certain things mean, such as (H/C) and (E/C). If you're still confused, just ask away in the comments and I'm sure others or I would be glad to help you understand. It can get confusing, I know that much.
*KEY*
(H/C) = Hair Colour; Your hair colour
(Note that you're eye colour has already been chosen since it's important for the story!)Things such as skin colour will be chosen since in the story I depict the reader as an Asian (I did this because her parents are Japanese and I based her home culture around that of Japan. I hope you can understand, but if you'd like, imagine it as whatever you would like to!)
Well, I hope you enjoy this chapter.

『 The Day of Departure 』
"I'll miss you all very much. I assure you that I'll stay safe and I promise to visit when I have time. Let's hope the next time I see you guys that I won't be a huntress." (Y/N) said in a monotone voice. She was trying to hide her sadness, she didn't wanna leave the people that she cared so much about. Her (H/C) locks gently swaying in the breeze as she held back the tears that threatened to fall from her eyes. It truly did pain her to have to leave those who she cherished behind, but it was for a good cause. When she returned, she would be able to protect those she loved. She would be able to ensure their safety and know that she kept them safe or at least had the skill to do so. They were the ones who saved her in the first place, and she vowed that one day she would do the same. Whether it be in battle or off the battlefield.
Blake ran over to (Y/N) and wrapped her arms around her best friend. (Y/N) reciprocated the embrace, taking her time to enjoy the hug from her best friend. The last embrace she would have with Blake for a very long time. The next time they met, (Y/N) would be all grown up and so would Blake. But there was no doubt in both of their minds that their friendship would last throughout that long time. As cheesy as it may sound, their friendship dynamic was unbreakable and the bond that the two girls shared was indestructible.
Blake finally let go of (Y/N) and pulled away, a soft smile on her face.
"We're really going to miss having you around, you know.." Blake chuckled dryly, saddened to see the girl leave. "But I think you're going to be late boarding the ship if you don't hurry up and get your butt going." Blake laughed and (Y/N) couldn't help but laugh as well, the laughter was contagious as they smiled sadly at each other. (Y/N) let out a sigh before beginning to speak,
"You better not replace me or I will fly myself back here just to remind you." She said with her goofy smile.
"How could I ever forget somebody as weird as you? Now go, before I have to force you onto that stupid ship." Blake joked, but didn't want her friend to be late boarding the ship. It was clear she cared deeply about (Y/N) and put her best friend's feelings and future before her own.
"Alright, alright. Stay safe.. I promise I'll come and visit you. Cya!" (Y/N) embraced Blake one last time before turning around and boarding the ship that was going to be taking her to where her new future started.
"Goodbye, (Y/N), I promise I'll give you a call the second I think you've landed!" Blake shouted out to her best friend, just warning the young girl of the calls that she was going to absolutely bombard her with.
