Ok so i'm sorry this isn't exactally a chapter. buuuuuuuuuuuuut it's a filler chapter, and if you don't know filler chapters are just filling you in on whats going on in the book. I'm going to tell you who the Flits are.
The flits are a supernatural group of Shadow Hunters. They are very, super powerful, and this group contains the 6 most powerful Shadow Hunters since Jonathan Shadowhunter. In the group are:
Clary, who now has a boyfriend, and a parabatai.
Jake, Clarys boyfriend, and has a parabatai
Samantha or Sam, Clarys parabatai, and Jakes sister.
Frank, Jakes parabatai, and Samanthas boyfriend.
Cassidy, or Cass, has a parabatai, a boyfriend, and franks sister.
James, Cass boyfriend and her parabatai.
Those are the Flits. Everyone has been betrayed, in some way, like one example:
Jake, Clary's boyfriend, his parents almost killed him and his sister Samantha.
So because, everyone has been betrayed, they all wear black.
Girls wear: 5 inch black high heals, Black tank top, black leather pants, and clary always wears a pair of black sunglasses.
Guys wear: Black t shirt, very dark blue or black jeans, and black Converse
They do have a language, it's oretty much everything back words. they call it tilf language ( Flit backwards )
So thats pretty much all you need to know about The Flits.
