I didn't tell you about my week, so I will start now. Last Monday, I had piano. I finally finished Moonlight Sonata, which I started on September 15th!! Now, I have to prepare for my Christmas recital, Hymn Festival and the Bach Festival... 😶 Last Tuesday was the band concert. JoJo and Hannah were sitting near me and would not stop talking!!! Then they said that I was talking while telling them to stop talking, which I guess I was... whatever.😜 The concert took around 15 minutes. The 8th graders were better than us, though. Britt wrote about it, so go read her story, Life Can't Be That Hard.
Wednesday, my choir friends and I had a mandatory after school choir rehearsal. If we did not go, she would not let us preform Thursday night. It took literally an HOUR to just get everyone on the risers. The other hour was us running through our ENTIRE concert from top to bottom while Mrs. Freeman was working with the sound system. I totally messed up when I ran through my piano solo... I think. No, that was at the performance. Forget I said anything.
After the practice that night, I got a ride to church with AJ, Grant, and Reagan. I had two minutes to eat my pizza. Then, we had to start our sermon. When we sang, I got real emotional and was trying SO HARD not to cry. Of course, my best friend Savannah noticed. After the sermon and before small group, I went to the bathroom and she followed me. I told her why I was crying ( and I will NOT discuss it on WattPad) and she told me about her week ( which I will ALSO not mention on WattPad). We stayed in there so long that a leader came in and MADE us leave!! 😄😄
I don't remember what we discussed in small group, let's just say that...
Thursday, we had the choir concert. My dress was WAY TOO LONG!!!! I almost tripped on it. I went and played my solo, Do You Hear What I Hear, and messed up terribly!!! Don't ask Kimbrell though, she is a LIAR!! I DID mess up! At the very end of the solo, I forgot where I was on the page and played, like, THREE WRONG CHORDS!!!! 😰😰
Then, Leah was playing Let I Go while the 7th grade girls choir walked onto the stage. She was PERFECT!!! 😊 We sang Let It Go with Shelby as the soloist. After that, we sang We Are Lights, which is a Chanukah song. We sat down while the 8th graders sang. Then the 8th graders stood and watched us sing Frosty. IT HAD MOTIONS!!! 😄😄😄 Then the boys choir came out and sang Sing Noel. Some of the boys had amazing voices!!! The show choir came up after the boys and sang a Latin song... 😏😏 They also sang White Christmas. Then all of us sang Go Tell It On The Mountain and Hallelujah. We got off beat on Hallelujah. No one except Mrs. Freeman and some of my musical friends knew that though... 😶
After the concert, I went to Sonic and saw a show choir boy there. I wrote "Good Job" on my phone and held it to the window, but he didn't notice!!
On Friday, I went to the Brandon Christmas Parade. Rachel got all snappy because she thought I stole her candy. Same with Jack. They do NOT mess around with candy!!! 😑😑😑😑
I don't remember what I did after that. Oh well...
Saturday and Sunday, I went to camp.
