The Fox and the Bird

A fox is chasing a bird

he stumbled and fell

crashing into a lake

to lose his kill as well

A fox is chasing a bird

The bird falls flat

crashing into the snow

And now the birds' a snack

A bird is in her nest

The fox stays below,

where he watches for pests

and the bird, stays above, to rest

If anyone knows

how much a fox knows

they're sure to fight not flee

but if anyone knows

how much a bird knows

they outsmart their beast of prey

A fox is chasing a bird

the bird flies away

and the fox tries to follow

but instead, he must stay

The bird flies high

away from all danger

but something is boiling

that feels like anger

The little bird lands

and looks all around

spotting the fox

laying down on the ground

A fox is chasing a bird

but he stumbles and falls

crashes into the snow

leaving behind, it all

A bird is chasing a fox

the fox crashes into the grass

the little bird laughs and lands on his nose

and their rivalry remains the past

but if anyone knows

how much a fox knows

they're sure to live not die

But if anyone knows

how much a bird knows

it is to sing with pride

This is older, but it really fun to say out loud, and it's just cute and lighthearted
