Hey! Big, no, HUGE thank you to orangecookiee for the good review! CHECK HER OUT! (:

******************************

I walked confidently down the block to the highschool I had been staring at for a couple minutes. My first stop would be the office. I wonder if the secretary would recognize my name...I knew she wouldn't recognize my appearance though. That had changed too dramatically.

As I opened the door to the office, no one even acknowledged my existence. While taking long strides to the desk, though, I could feel the gazes of the few kids that were in there on my back. I smirked. Thats more like it. I needed to be known by anyone and everyone so the news would spread to the 'populars' that there was a new girl. Atleast they would think that I was new.

"Excuse me, can I get my schedule. I'm new." The secretary studied me. Her name was Mrs. Edwards...who would marry her!?! I started to imagine an old guy with a beer belly and receding hair line. It was probably freakishly similar to her actual husband. She had that mean look to her. Like she wants to be taken seriously, but no one can do that since her hair is about the size of the husband's beer belly, that I made up for her.

"You should have printed it out. We're trying to save paper." Her tone suggested that she looked down upon me. Well alrighty, biatch. "I actually don't have a printer, and don't care enough about it to walk myself miles to the nearest library." I gave her a sarcastic smile.

Her mouth gaped open. "O-oh. I guess we could make an exception."

"You kind of have no choice."

I took the paper she handed me and walked out with pride. I think I handled that well!

I looked down at my paper and noticed I was in all honors classes, this should be fuunnn. I found my locker number and combo on the bottom of the page, I tried to keep my cool while frantically searching for my locker in the huge crowd of people. Then I realized they were all staring at me, with a look of awe! SCORE! This might turn out better than I thought... I laughed a small laugh, and looked at the nearest guy with the side of my mouth turned up in half a smile.

"Hi, I'm Eve. Wanna help me find this beast of a locker?"

The guy chuckled. "Sure, but I'm willing to bet your locker isn't an animal to be afraid of. Oh, and I'm Drake."

He took my paper, read what he needed to, and started leading the way. Drake wasn't ugly. It's just his dirty blinde hair and caramel colored eyes made him blend into the crowd. Suddenly he stopped in front of a tall light greyish locker. "This is it!"

"Hah, you say it like this is uber exciting!"

"I achieved my goal of showing a pretty girl to her locker, this IS exciting!"

I blushed a little at the compliment, I knew I was pretty but hearing things like that outloud from a guy who actually MEANT it was super sweet!

"And did I just hear the pretty girl I assisted say "uber"?"

"Pfff, YES. I cannot hide the fantasticness of that word!"

"I almost wish you would find a way..."

I jokingly glared at him.

"WOAHH, I was jokkkingg!" He said the word joking long, and dramatically. "No need to make it escalate to the glare!"

"When you insult an amazing word like, uber, then there is ABSOLUTLEY a need to give the glare!"

I winked at him.

"Tell me more about the amazingness of the word uber in AP biology, we have it together."

We started walking/pushing through the crowd of highschoolers who were all stealing glances at me that they assumed were going unnoticed.

"Didn't you ever learn to not tell a girl what to do!?" I said with mock horror, to Drake. This was fun! I think Drake might become a good friend...

"Oh, so now you're insulting my mother! Thats a little rude, Eve."

"I never brought up your mother, I distinctly remember "mother" coming out of your set of lips!"

Thats when we arrived outside the navy blue door of AP biology. Lets see how this goes...Based on the events of today, I'm guessing this will be an UBER great day!

"We'll finish this convo later!"

I calmy opened the door and strode into the student filled classroom.
