After the Raiders left they moved what was left in the house to the shed. By the time they finished, it was dusk and so they went to bed hungry. Straw woke them again at dawn to be fed, but they didn't have any food to give him. The boys left quickly to go in search of food and water, in the meantime Stormie and Lyla took care of the garden, luckily their water wasn't touched because it was hidden behind the house. After they'd finished watering the garden, they finished the sheds roof and organized the stuff in it and cleaned the debris. By the time they finished it was a little past noon and so they gave Gwen and Straw some water and then drank themselves. When the boys got home that night, they brought some stale bread, old chips, some rotten veggies and a bucket of water. Lyla fed Straw first and then Gwen, the boys, Stormie and lastly her. Lyla and Stormie grabbed the rotten veggies and used them as fertilizer for the garden. After dinner and moving the vegetables, they talked, "What's it like out there?" Asked Lyla. "It's scary.. You have to fearful of dogs, raiders and most of all, heatstroke." Replied West. "I think we should make a pond.." Said Stormie quietly. "Well, I like that Idea. And don't forget about the virus West.." Said Nick tiredly. "I think it's time for bed." Smiled Lyla worriedly. They all went to bed thinking of the same thing, 'Will they survive?'
