Planting vegetables and stuffs was probably you favorite thing in the world. You always found it enjoyable planting, watering and taking care of them. Since you got a big yard at your house, it was full of fruit and vegetables.

You walked happily carrying a large container of water to water your tomato in the school ground. You planted it at the back of the school where no one usually go. It was kinda your secret spot.

There was only a few weeks left until the tomatoes were fully grown. You can't wait to pick them up and cook them.

You were delighted to see your work but were taken aback. Shocked, you dropped the container on the ground. The tomatoes you planted beautifully were completely destroyed. They were all squashed and there were holes on the ground.

You dropped to the ground and covered you face with your hands. "Who did this cruel thing?" You sobbed. All your hard work turned into a complete mess.

After that you didn't bother planting again nor visit that spot. Your friends noticed the changes in you so they kept asking you what was wrong but you refused to tell them and said that your were okay. The once was cheerful girl who always brighten up everyone's days turned into a gloomy girl. They gave up asking but still worried about you. They even tried to cheer you up but it seemed like you couldn't return back to your cheerful state.

After two months, you were unconsciously wondering around the campus. Going where your feet were taking you, you ended up at your secret spot again. But you didn't expect this at all. Your once dull eyes turned bright again.

You walked to the newly planted tomatoes. Your eyes brighten as your lips curved into a smile. Admiring the plant, you wondered who would replanted this.

Then you notice the note hanging on the stake near the tomatoes. You picked it up and read.

Dear (full name),

I want to apologize about your tomatoes. Last time I accidentally damaged your plants without even realizing it. But seeing you looked down these past few weeks, I tried to find the root cause of you sorrow but then realized I was the cause. Because of my stupid actions, it makes you lose your smile. So I decided to replant this for you as an apology. Please forgive me. And please show me your smile again. The smile that brighten my boring days.

                                                                     H.K

You smiled to yourself as you read the letter. You held the letter to your chest and fondly looked at the apology gift.

You stood up with determination to protect and take good care of them. You went to get some water, but as you turned around the corner, you bumped into a hard chest.

"Ow... Sorry, I wasn't looking where I'm going." You bowed as an apology.

"It's okay."

You recognized the voice, "Hibari-senpai?" You gazed up to meet with a pair of cold steel eyes.

"You seemed to be in a rush."

"Ah... yes..." You nervously replied.

"Would you mind telling me about it?" You were surprised because Hibari didn't usually like talking that much. But it seemed like he wanted to open up a conversation with you.

"I was going to get some water." You didn't know why but you suddenly got excited, "Ano ne, senpai..." you made eyes contact with the prefect and smiled. "Someone damaged my plant two months ago and I was angry and depressed. But then that person decided to replant it as an apology. Isn't that great?" You giggled.

Hibari just stared at your happy face. "So you forgave him?"

"Hai!"

Hibari flinched when you suddenly gave him your adorable eye smile.

"Ah! I talked too much. I'm probably interrupting your patrolling." You bowed politely, "I should get going now." You ran off to continue your task leaving the skylark by himself.

Hibari stared at your back and watched you disappeared around the corner. He covered his lower face with his hand. There was a tint of blush creeped on his cheek. He took a deep breath and tried to recomposed himself.

"What a fine girl." A baby with a fedora appeared sitting on the tree branch.

"Infant." He greeted.

"You know you should confess to her if you have affection for her."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Hibari turned his heel heading back to his office.

"I can see that she'll be a perfect wife. Fuuta did some ranking and (full name) ranks first in perfect wife of her generation."

"..."

Reborn smirked, "Too bad Tsuna already has two candidates for his future wife. (Y/N) would have been a good match."

Hearing this made Hibari paused his journey. He turned around and glared at the baby. "Don't you dare."

"Well all you need to do is claim her as yours. If you hesitated, someone will definitely steal her away. Ciao." Reborn jumped off the tree and disappear.

Hibari mind drifted off to the sky above as Reborn's words were flying around his head.

Of course he wanted you to be his forever. But can you give your affection to him like he give to you? Those thoughts were stuck in his head the whole time which was why he didn't dare to make a move on you. Also he was afraid that his confession would just scared you away.

"Ah! Senpai? You're still here?"

Hibari turned his head to the voice seeing the beautiful sight that he loved to see every single day. That was you. He took many risks, maybe he should take this one as well.

He walked closer to you and leaned close to you ear. "After you're done, go to my office. I want to talk to you privately." He whispered.

You were taken aback by Hibari's smile. You can feel your heart jump and the heat on your cheeks. "H-Hai!"

He ruffled your hair and made his way back to his office.

You touched your hair as you looked at him confused. 'What does he want to talk about?'

You then continued to water the plant and headed to the demon prefect's office without knowing what would come next.
