Hibari Kyoya x Reader (one-shot)

Winter

Winter was the season that was always too cold for you to handle. The cold winter air caused you to get sick every time. You've been living in Japan since birth, yet you still couldn't get used to the freezing weather.

Even though the heater was turned on, you wrapped yourself in blanket while doing the assigned homework. You looked out the window, watching snow falling onto the ground. The whole town was covered in snow.

"I wonder what Kyoya is doing right now."

You didn't know that your boyfriend was alone in the school during Christmas the previous year. If you have known that he would be alone, you would have invited him in for the family dinner. Judging by Hibari Kyoya's aloofness, you knew that he'd be alone again this Christmas.

You grabbed a thick coat and a scarf, readying to go out. You didn't forget to put a pair of glove on. You needed to wear thick clothes since you were weak when it came to cold weather.

As you arrived at the school which was Hibari's second house, you went straight to his office to find him. Unfortunately, Hibari wasn't there.

"Where is he?" You muttered as you searched for any possible places he might be.

You ended up at the schoolyard. It was filled with students, but now the thick snow covered the entire place. You kept wondering why Hibari liked spend his time in the school ground, watching over the students.

'Isn't he lonely?'

You were lost in your thoughts as you were staring at the falling snowflakes. You held out your hand to catch the snow. How ironic that you love the snow, yet you couldn't play with it.

"What are you doing here?"

Turning around, your eyes met with a pair of icy grey once. You smiled brightly when you saw the person you've been looking for.

You paced to him and smiled, "Kyoya."

"It's freezing out here. You'll catch a cold." Hibari fixed your coat and scarf to cover you from the cold.

"I'm fine. I'm wearing thick clothes." Your gaze landed on his hands. "You don't have any gloves on."

You instantly grabbed both of his hands and rubbed them together with yours. Then you blew hot air to warm up his hands.

Hibari watched you with a small smile on his face. He put his now warm hands on your cheeks, "I'm all warm up now thanks to you."

You giggled at his soft character.

"Your nose is red." He touched your nose. "Let's go inside."

"Okay."

You two walked back to the Hibari's office hand in hand. As soon as you enter the room, you instantly hugged him.

"I miss you so much."

"We just saw each other a few days ago." He returned the hugged.

"I know." You buried you face in his chest. "I want to see you everyday."

Hibari stroked you hair. "Why do I feel like I'm hugging a giant Hibird when I'm hugging you right now."

When you heard his comment, you squirmed to get out of his embrace, but he wouldn't let go. "I'm not a giant Hibird." You puffed your cheeks.

He chuckled at your cuteness and peaked on your lips, "Do you want some hot chocolate?"

Hearing that, you eyes sparkled. It was you favorite drink for winter season. Hibari knew about this, so he ordered Kusakabe to store the ingredients in his office just in case you would visit.

"Yes, please."

Hibari pinched your cheek and let go of you to make the drink. You took of you gloves and coat as the heater was turned on.

"I bought some strawberry cake." You picked up the box on his desk and sat at the sofa.

"Here." He handed you a cup of hot chocolate and sat down beside you.

"Thank you." You took a sip and smiled. "It's good."

"I'm glad." He pulled you closer to him.

You spent your time conversing, drinking hot choco, eating cake, and feeling each other's warmth from a cuddle.

You snuggled your head on his chest. "Do you want to come over for Christmas?"

Hibari didn't say anything. He just rested his chin on your shoulder and embrace you tightly.

"Mom and dad would love it if you come over."

"...I don't want to be a burden."

You suddenly got up and faced him. "What are you saying? You're not a burden."

"..."

"You are welcomed to our family anytime."

"I'm fine by myself."

"You're so stubborn." You were somehow irritated by what he said.

Because of his aloofness, he didn't know how to interact much with other people that's why most of them were intimidated by his presence. Also, being alone all the time was not good to his mentally. He needed social interaction.

"I'm not asking you anymore. I'm tell you to come over for Christmas. Got it?"

"What if I say no?"

"Then I'm not going to talk to you anymore." You didn't want to be hard on him like that, but this was also for his own good.

You stood up to pick up your coat, but you were pulled back down to his embrace.

"I'll go." He kissed you cheek, "I'm sorry. Don't be angry."

You were finally calm down when he agreed to you. You smiled brightly and cupped his cheeks. "That's my Kyoya."

You pressed your lips onto his. Hibari gladly return the kiss.  It was the best day to spend the cold day in each other warm cuddle.
