New world, new life

"Jace don't ! " I cried but he won't listen.

"Move out of my fucking way." He said with a cold glare.

" Please don't, you will regret this. Do you want to throw your life away because you wanted revenge? Is this the path you really want to take. Think about it." I pleaded with the little energy I had. He didn't move. He stood there with a gun in his shaking hand.

" I said MOVE !" he said with a more aggresive tone.

" Fine, then shoot me !" I said with a seroius tone. Moved infront of him although a few feet away from him All colour drained from his face.

" What ?!" His features softening." Mary, will you do as your told and move. Please."

" I will not until you put the gun down. So go ahead and pull the trigger." Trying to put up a brave act.

" Fuck! Mary I warned you not to get involved and what do you do? you get in my fucking way, you never leave my mind.You look at me with those big brown eyes and I get lost in them. You, you ,you.... shit. Mary I-" He stopped his sentence. He what? Loves me? He started breathing heavily then aimed the gun my direction. Fear started running down my spine. He wouldn't kill me. He won't, he can't. Will he? when all of a sudden the gun goes off.

I look down my body. Blood!. Blood creating a pool at my feet.

" No!" A sob escaping my lips.

9 months ago ...

Chapter 1

Today was a new beginning. A new fresh start but mostly, freedom. Freedom from my Mother, from the people I knew all my life and from everything I knew since I was a child.Today I am a woman! Well not exactly but close enough.

" Mary you will miss your flight if you stay there another minute !" My mother shouted from outside my room." You're not getting any younger in there!" I rolled my eyes at her comment.

" I will be down in a second. Just let me finish." But truth was that , I was nervous. I was moving to a foreign country alone, meeting new people so yeah I had the right to be scared.But now was not the time to panic. I had a plane to catch. I picked up my luggage, walked outside my bedroom door then looked back. It was like a flashback of my life was going through my mind. I sighed and turned on my heel never looking back again. I will sure miss this place.

" Mary Steward, I will not-" My mother stopped her sentence once she saw me by her side at the door. She shook her head with a small smile on her red lips. Mother helped me load the luggage in the car." You ready?" She looked at me with concern evident in her brown eyes.

" Yeah, yeah let's just go." I said waving the matter away. We got into the car headed for the airport.

The car ride was silent . Both of us lost in our thoughts. When we reached our destination, I hurried not to miss my plane ride.

" You sure you have everything. Did you carry your passport? plane ticket? warm clothes ?do even have enough money and and, and, and-"

" Oh my gosh i left the plane ticket on the dinning table" i gave a fake gasp. Mother eyes grew wide, all colour draining from her face. I couldn't hold it in any longer and laughed.

" Just kidding." I said with a proud grin glued to my face.

" Jesus Mary, you nearly gave me a heartattack." also laughing with me. She stopped and worry showed in her features. " But I'm serious Mary. Will you be ok? "

" Yes mother i will."

" Your Father would have been so proud of you.I'm proud of you" She said with tears rolling down her face." If only he were here to see you all grown up and and and I love you Mary. Never forget that." Wiping her tears away with the back of a hand. " God, I'm such a mess."

" Oh Mom. Your going to make me cry too. I love you too mother."

" We can't have the college girl crying when she should be happy, can we now?"

"No" I said trying to give my best smile. I failed.

" That's my girl. Now turn that frown upside down."

" Yes Ma'am" I then smiled. I picked by bags rushing to get to the gates for I was offically going to miss my flight.

" Love you sweetheart."

" Love you too. Bye. I'll call you went I land."I said without turning and continued running to the gates before they closed. " Aaaaah!" I said remembering i had to go to through the security check.

"Morning Ma'am." One of the security women told me.

" Uhh hello."

" Late for flight?" She said with a rised brow.

" You have no idea."

"Well enjoy your flight."

" Thank you." I said bearly audible.Rushing with the necessary to board the plane I made it through the gate.

" Here you go.Enjoy your flight with the London airline." The flight attendant giving me a wide smile. Boy did he have white teeth that could blind you.

"Thank you." Giving him back a smile.Putting my luggage in it's place then settled down in no time.

"Hello." A deep british accent said.I turned by head to the source of the amazing voice. Oh my! I was sure i turned red. Was he talking to me? Cause i was sure as hell wasn't worthy to be spoken to by a greek god gorgeous man like him.

" Umm hi." I said trying not to look or sound like a fool.

" I think you're in my sit?" The man said giving me a small smile.

" I am so sorry let me-" I collide my head with his. Well mission don't act like a fool just failed. I turned twenty shades darker red.

"Ouch! Are you okay?" He asked with a little chuckle escaping his lips. Gosh those lips were so full and pink and-. Stop right there with those thoughts Mary Steward, I told myself.

" Just take my sit. I wouldn't mind."

" Ahh thanks." I said blushing even harder.God, why do have to be so shy?

"No problem." Shrugging the matter away." By the way my name is David." Even his name was hot !

"I'm M-Mary

" So are going for holiday to London or ?"

"No. College." i said trying to hide my burning face

"Ahhhh college girl I see." Giving me a small smile.

" Yap. thats me."

"Ladies and gentlemen please put on your seat belts for take off" The woman said through the speakers. We then started moving and in no time flying of the run way. I sure hated take off.

" Hate flying?" David asked with concern in his voice. I nodded slowly.

" Just countdown from 10. Thats what I do."

" Scared too?" Surprised by his confession.

" Maybe." he said smirking at me."Well it was nice meeting you Mary but will you excuse me while i take a nap?" He asked while putting his chair down.

" Sure " I gave him a little smile.

When we were above 8000 feet I suddenly grew tired. Grabbed my ipod putting my favourite song "Secrets" by Onerepublic when the thought of a new world, a new life occured to my thoughts then drifted to sleep.
