The Last Time Maybe? (Resident Evil Four)

Chapter One

Yora's Pov
I rarely had much time to really think. In fact, it was always hard for me to think straight. You go six years with growing accustom to a new way of living, my way was to stay in my apartment in the dark. But after six years I had a visitor.

A handsome one at that man was he a looker after all this time. My lips slowly formed a smile and I had to quickly focus back on the talking male knowing damn too well I had zoned out when Leon was talking to me.

"So are you in?" I slowly blinked, and stared into Leon's icy like blue eyes, before blurting out, my entire face hot with heat.

"You are gonna have to repeat the whole thing you just said, cause I zoned out looking at your eyes." I muttered. Leon's own eyes went wide and a loud laugh escaped him, his husky laughter and chuckles filling my ears before he tugged back all his dirty blonde hair back with one motion with his hand.

"Wow am I that good looking Yora." He joked looking at me with amusement laced in his eyes "Very much so, I think I get swooped in every time." It was playful between the two of us, and has been for years to come.

Leon was still chuckling and I smiled "But seriously I'm listening this time I apologize, you said that they called you in for a case?" I asked him intrigued slowly laying my head on my arms watching Leon nod his head yet again.

"Mhm tomorrow morning I am off to Spain to help find the president's missing daughter she's been kidnapped, her name is Ashley Graham." I nodded my head at everything and anything he was saying taking a peek at the picture of the short hair blonde girl smiling in the picture.

"Sounds pretty important." I mumbled slowly Leon sank his teeth into his lower lip, and it was a habit he did when had much more to tell or he was a little nervous.

"Well officially it was only suppose to be me going, but since my loving and amazing partner hasn't had any go to action in a while, the president and basically our jobs is ordering you to join me." My jaw dropped open and I quickly banged my head on the table whining loudly, all inside my arms.

"Leon you promised that raccoon city incident was the last time." I mumbled in my arms blowing out a small raspberry.

"I know I did, I know I promised a lot but I swear on everything after this mission, you and me will go on a vacation, I know how hard it was for you, but Yora I really believe in you." I kept silent for a few minutes knowing Leon was always good with his words.

He always has been even six years ago when we were both suppose to be rookie cops at Raccoon city. I shivered at the thought, but shook it away. Just one more mission won't hurt.

I lifted my head up, and I saw that Leon was still looking at me really focus and awaiting my answer. "Alright, when do we leave?" I muttered seeing a small smile made its way across his face.

"We leave at four am, we gotta get on a plane, can I stay the night I kinda don't wanna drive all the way back to my apartment." I facepalmed and chuckled.

"Go ahead, I have a spare room, you know that." I slowly stood up, and moved passed Leon slowly ruffling up his hair making him chuckle and before I knew it he was walking with me towards my closet that had all my stuff inside it.

I swung open the door and Leon stood near me letting a low whistle out "I forget how much stuff you had." He breathed out with a grin. I flashed him a smile.

"I haven't used a lot of it in a while, but every few months it gets cleaned, and I've renewed my gun license." I muttered, glancing around I picked two handguns, and turned to look at Leon handing it to him which he took, tracing it looking back at me, and I smiled looking at the slick black martial.

"I'm so not ready, but one last time, right?" I glanced at Leon again, to see him slowly put the handgun in his gun holster parting my back swinging his arm around to rest on my neck.

"The hell should I know, but one last time." He muttered chuckling. I rested my head on his neck some more, and relaxed a little. Well, Spain here we come. I thought.
