Chapter Seven

Yora's Pov
I found myself awaking with quite a huge start and this faint pain in my chest. I looked around in confusion, looking to my left I saw Leon looked to still be passed out.
Fuck how long have we been out? It looks dark outside and it's still raining hard. A low cough left me. I got on my knees going over to Leon shaking him awake a bit.

"Leon wake up." I muttered ignoring me coughing up blood shaking the feeling away. He groaned a little but he shot up so quickly both of us almost bonking forehead till I moved back a little.

"Oh Yora... I had such a bad dream." He grumbled fluttering his eyes a couple times. He looked around in a haze like state his blue eyes looking everywhere.

"How long have we been out damn." He muttered standing up on shaky legs shaking out his dirty blonde hair a few times, I also stood up grumbling messing with my hair a bit. I checked over myself seeing my knife, and all my guns as well were full in tact and in place. Leon's radio went off after a few minutes of me moving my hands all over myself, he grabbed it from the side pouch of his jeans answering with ease clearing his throat quietly.

"Leon? Yora it's been hours since our last transmission." Hunnigan called out confused like, almost like she wasn't sure if she should be questioning it as well. I rubbed at the back of my head groaning at the pain the was throbbing all across it.

"Sorry me and Yora kinda passed out." Leon stated blinking his eyes almost like he didn't believe how quick it occurred.

"Passed out? Are you guys alright?" I moved a little closer to the cabin door pushing open the door a little just to see how bad the rain had gotten, cause I knew my hair was gonna get messed up the thought alone had me whining quietly to myself.

I jumped just slightly almost screaming at the loudest crash of thunder and lightning giving me a heartache with how quick it flashed across my eyes.

"Holy shit!" I squeaked out quickly grabbing at my chest quite fast a little started , Leon snapped his head back at me quite deeply and started laughing quite a bit walking by me.

"Still scared of the rain." He snickered at me quietly I huffed out, pretending like I totally didn't almost shit my pants.

"No it just caught me by surprise." I looked at Leon who was just laughing before he left the cabin first, after I did a quick look around finding some stray things I followed after Leon getting soaked by the rain right away.

"Holy shit." I muttered,  Leon just grabbed my hand amused lacing our hands before we started going down another trail away from the large gross lake.

Carefully I reloaded my clip to my hand gun again, watching Leon slip the round piece that was missing for the church door clicked in place, my body was sore and it seemed like we were jumping through hoops for the most simple things.

Leon nodded towards me before he pushed open the door, I followed suit looking around confused at the empty seats, but we shut the large door behind us. Exploring the bottom alter not really finding much. The both of us climbed up the ladder noticing that one side was blocked off.

I braced myself slowly moving back, I jumped grabbing onto the chandelier swinging a bit, Leon quickly followed suit, both of us quickly. I landed first on the other side. Putting my gun away I looked at this device that has all these colors pop up.

It was like the orb back at the house. "I'll try this one." Leon grinned at me giving me a gentle push away. I held my hands up in surrender chuckling.

"Alright go for it babe." He sent me a wink before he was pressing a few color buttons I watched Leon focus before the shapes snapped in piece. He shot me an amused look as he gazed me coming over towards my side the bars opened up.

I grabbed Leon's hand which he took lacing our hands again we carefully stepped towards the door. Leon removed the wooden board piece.

I moved behind him just to make sure with a small click, he opened the door stepping inside and I grabbed my gun just in case.

"Don't come!" I heard a loud girls voice scream out. I ducked my head a bit when she threw a wooden plank.

"Jesus." I muttered staring at the short hair blonde girl. Yep that's Ashley the presidents daughter.

I lowered my gun placing it back in the holder. "Hey relax." Leon called out also placing his gun away.

"No stay away!" Ashley screamed out running towards the corner.

"Hey really it's okay you can relax you are safe now, I'm Yora and that's Leon, we were sent in by the President to come and rescue you." I spoke she shot her eyes up so quickly.

"What my father?" She questioned standing up messing with her skirt a bit.

"Yes that's correct we are getting you out of here come on." Leon gestured, she rushed over while I lead the way outside the room a little checking all over my weapons I jolted a little when Leon pressed a kiss to my cheek.

"Good work baby." He told me quickly, making an crack a small smile messing with my now wet curly hair looking away shyly.
