Yora's Pov
I wasn't sure how many hours passed, but I was physically exhausted already and we haven't even finished our missions yet, running from inhuman large boulders, setting off bear traps, and all the while it was so we could find a way to Ashley in this maze-like village. It was honestly so strange how these villagers they weren't all that human anymore and yet.

From what those notes said someone was being kept in a large house on the opposite side of the trail so that's where the both of us were heading.

"Leon has your ass always been like this," I called out walking down the small hill path. It was still very foggy, and all but still was cold at the same time a good thing I had that jacket with me or else it would be really really bad.

I was constantly picking up ammo for my two guns since I seemed to be blowing through it like it was candy.

"I'm pretty sure it's always been like this Yora, you gotta pay attention though I know I am handsome." He laughed at me quietly glancing back at me a shift of twinkle in his eyes.

I sent him a small wink before I moved a little quicker to walk side by side with Leon, who once again grabbed my hand to hold on his so I didn't get sidetracked with trying to find random things.

Not much was said in those last few minutes before Leon nodded for me to take the lead inside the very dusty and old house.

I scooped up one of my guns pressing my back to the corner of the wall where I heard loud pounding from the inside of a large closet. Leon nodded and I moved forward slowly clicking it unlocked and stepped back pointing my gun watching as a man who had his hands tied behind his back and duck tape over his lips.

Leon kneeled down next to me and roughly ripped the tape off his mouth fast. "Ow! You're little rough don't you think?" He had a rough Spanish accent, and I was more relieved that it was another normal human like us. Leon flicked his bangs from his face a little.

"You're not like them?" He trailed off looking between us both. It made Leon pause for his movement for just a little before he yanked the rope letting him free.

"No. You?" Leon questioned back. I carefully placed my gun back in its spot, I kept my eyes on the man watching him rub at his wrist.

"Okay. I only have one very important question, you got a smoke? " He shifted his eyes between us both.

"Got gum," Leon responded plainly. He looked towards me, and I chewed at my lip before digging in my pocket shuffling out a box of cigarettes from my new found habit popping one out handing it to the guy, tossing over one of my lighters.

"Since when do you smoke?" Leon questioned glancing back up at me fast, his blue eyes shifted with concern.

"Just when I'm stressed it's not all the time," I responded, shoving it back in my baggy pants.

I shot him a reassuring look, just then large footsteps made us all look towards the very large man, his black trench coat flowing behind him, a large beard across his face. But his eyes were red. Almost reminding me of the events from raccoon city.

I was frozen in place. But I heard the male behind us muttering something about the big cheese. Leon stood up with a glare and rushed forward quickly shooting his leg out trying to kick him, but the large man was quicker and grabbed Leon's foot stopping him in mid-air.

I finally shook my head trying to act but it was way too late. With one large flip, he tossed Leon in the air sending him crashing straight into me and the other man knocking us straight into the large wardrobe.

My head instantly crashed into the wood feeling it land all over me groaning weakly at the feeling my head slumping back once Leon landed on top of me all of us in one big pile.
