Pain

Raven's POV

Its been a few weeks since Robin and I have been hanging out and its been going by pretty smoothly. but from time to time, i would feel blows to my body. Like somebody is literally kicking my ass. But not once has anybody put there hands on me since I've come back.

And the weirdest part of it all is that it goes away whenever I'm with Robin.

Every day and night, me and my family go patrolling, looking for my mamma. i would use my magic to search for her for hours but would come up short. i can tell that she is still alive because of our blood link. if only it could help me pinpoint her location.

But i have found one thing.

A throwing knife with a black blade and silver hilt.

i assume that its owner is one of the hunters who attacked us weeks ago. thinking of that night brought back the anger that was roaring inside of me.

i through the knife at a near by tree. but instead of wedging itself in the wood, it beamed clean through three other trees.

and a rock.

i ripped the blade from the stone and started walking back home.

then i felt it again. the pain.

it felt like someone was gripping my arms tightly and burning my back. another pain lifted in my chest and i cried out in pain "aah!!"

i fell on all floors and dug my fingers into the ground. the pain was horrible but not unbearable. through all my life, I've never felt pain like this. usually pain is like a tickle to me. but now.

i feel vulnerable. human almost.

after about an hour, the pain was gone. i was now in he floor of the forest, crying.

i slowly calmed down and rose to me feet.

what is happening to me? i thought. WHY is this happening to me?

Robin's POV

I got out got the shower and dried my body off. man its been a long morning. once again, I've waken up to an intense dream of me and Raven.

since its a Saturday, i got dressed in some black and white Adidas sweat pants, a fitted T-shirt, and some Adidas slides with black dri fit socks.

i walked to the mirror on the dresser and put my hair in a sloppy bun when Rue walked in looking mad already. whats wrong with her now? i sighed.

"who's 'Raven?'"

The question was sudden. Hearing her name caused my heart to flutter, but because Rue said it, made fear grow in my stomach.

"Nobody"

I lied.

I turned around to face Rue who is now in my face. Her face was hard ans angry. She gripped both of my arms with what seams like all of her strength and pushed me into the mirror.

the glass shattered against my back and caused me to fall to the ground. "aah!!" i cried.

Rue squatted in front of me and roughly lifted my chin so i could look at her.

"who's RAVEN!" she yelled in my face.

i tried to answer her but my eyes were starting to get heavy and spots are coming into view.

i blacked out.

waking up in the hospital was almost usual. your sight is slightly fuzzy at first until it clears, you feel a pain somewhere in your body. right now that's in my back and arms.

i was laying on my stomach with bandages wrapped around me. i probably got stitches for the cuts on my back. "great" i mumbled. but my voice was week and scratchy ugh even better i thought.

the door opened and my usual Doctor walked in. "hey, how you feeling Robbie?" he ashed with a smile. i smiled back "ok i guess. whats up Doc?" i said.

he gave me a knowing look. "you've hurt yourself pretty bad. we did surgery on you to get all of the glass out of your back. afterwards, we gave you some stitched and there's some pain killers available of you want them" he explained then left without another word.

Before the door could close, Luke and Nikki walked through.

"Robbie, you okay?" Nikki asked and squeeze my hand. I nodded "yah just some stitches on my back".

I looked over at Luke who seamed unconvinced and rather angry with my response. Luke has always been the big brother i've never had, so I understand why he's upset.

I gave him a small smile and his face softened a little. "The doctor says that you can be out my Monday" Luke finally said. I sighed "two days doesn't seem that long right?"

"Nope. So just sit back, relax, and enjoy the bad food" Nikki joked. I rolled my eyes and chuckled, "how can you enjoy bad food?" She flopped on the bed and shrugged "I don't know. Well you better try" we laughed.

the rest of the night was filled with bad jokes, movies and hospital food. since my mom and dad are dead to me and im currently living with mu aunt. Luke and Nikki are pretty much part of my family. My home. and i would break without them.

eventually Luke and Nikki fell asleep, leaving me with my thoughts. once again, my mind drifted to Raven. Her beautiful eyes that change its color, her intense dimples that sink into her smooth and caramel skin. her sent is probably the thing i like most about her so far. she is stunning, god yes, but her smell... i just cant get enough of it.

my eyes started to feel heavy and i fell asleep to a good thought in mind.

Anonymous POV

looking at Robin in her hospital room made me both joyful and furious at the same time. her smile was warm and breath taking. but the fact that she was thinking about Raven just set a fire to my stomach. why would the moon goddess mate them two together?

it should be me.

it will be me.

and nobody. not even that whore Raven, will stop me from having Robin forever.

i am sooooo sorry that i haven't updated in a while but i was busy with school and some personal things. so what do y'all think so far? whats Rue's problem? who do you think Robin's "shadow lover" is? stay tuned and patient and ill do my beast to give yall awesome chapters from now on.
