The next morning

I woke up in the middle of the woods, covered from head to toe in blood.

The events from last night started pouring back.

**Flashback**

"Dad-" " SHES GONE!!"

A tear ran down my face. I just stood there in shock. I opened my mouth to ask who but then I remembered who was missing back at the clearing...

Momma

I went from sadness and fear to anger and hatred.

"Who?" I asked coldly. "I don't know. They just took her." Dad said taking another sip out of his cup.

"Why the fuck won't you go look for her?" I snapped and he rose to his feet so he and I are at the same eye level. "I'm scared too and mad as hell. But we can't go in blind. We need to know who took her, why, and who to kill". once he said kill I knew my eyes were glowing blood-red with anger. 

I stormed out of the cellar and heard screams of pain and growls. dad came out right after me and we both teleported to the clearing.

I was angry when I found out that my momma was taken but what is unfolding in front of me, brought me to my limit. 

my now, everyone has turned to their full wolves. but half of the people in front of me are not a part of my pack.

my Father and I exchanged looks "hunters" he said angrily. I touched his for-head, therefore healing him back to sobriety. "dad I need you to keep an eye on us. make sure no more come" i say quickly and he extended his strong, jet black wings and I continued "nobody messes with my family". 

**End Of Flashback** 

I'm now about 20 miles away from my house. I chose to walk back instead of flying, running, teleporting, or whatever else.

I walked yo to this tree and ran my hand across the rough bark, flowers started to bloom after my fingers. I jumped to the top and looked at the forest below. the cool breeze blew across my face, dragging the scent of grass, bark, and blood. a tear escaped my eyes. my momma is somewhere out there and I don't know where. the woman who taught me about boys, and grades, and battle strategies and helped me with my transitions is now locked up and forced to go through god knows what.

I can't help her

I wiped my face and took a deep breath, knowing that crying won't bring her back.

I jumped back to the ground, allowing my feet to dig into the dirt once they made contact, and continued walking back to the house.

walking into the kitchen where Nini, my aunt Rashell, and daddy were having... an argument? 

"no. no. and no, we're not going. there are more important things than that right now" Nini said half yelling. "going where?" I asked grabbing a towel from the closet and wrapping it around my curved body.

"Our parents want us to go to school even though auntie Rhea is MISSING," Nini said even more annoyed. "what?" I asked. my dad stepped closer to me "Ray, I want you two to go back to metal lock high. there are some resources there that might be able to help us... and you two aren't 18 yet and you need to finish school" my dad explained. at this point, I'm just standing there trying to figure out how the hell is finishing school more important than finding my mother?

but as I gave it more thought, I decided that going back might benefit this situation. 

The metal lock is a school for both Sn's (supernaturals) and humans. we are usually separated from the humans about 90% of the time for their safety. dad was right when he said that they have resources. From Grimwars to crossbows.

I looked at Nini, who I assume has been thinking about the same thing. we nodded "fine," we said.

the next day Nini and I decided to gather some things for school since tomorrow is Monday we didn't get a lot. Eventually, we got hungry so we went to our old hangout. weakness for sweetness. 

"is that who I think it is?" the owner Kayla said moving from behind the counter with open arms. "maybe it is," I said happily giving her a hug. then Nini. "when did you two get back from the big apple?" she asked. "last night" Nini answered. and Kayla mugged us playfully "and you didn't come to see your old friend? I got yall" we all laughed. 

Kayla is a family friend Ni and I have known our whole lives. she would be our caterer at full moons, giving us blood and regular food. We would go to her shop after school. talk about annoying teachers and boring classes. cute boys...

And girls.

yup, you read right. this bad bitch is gay.

Ni and I explained what happened during the past few hours. tears were shed and things were thrown. 

"who do we have to kill?" she asked through clenched teeth.

"We don't know. they have a good way of burying their tracks" I said looking for a bottle of something alcoholic. puling out a bottle of Ciroc, I flopped down on a chair and popped the bottle. "arent you a little young to drink" Kay asked still looking mad as a baby momma without child support.

I shrugged "hasn't stopped me before." I said then took the bottle straight to the head.

"so any ideas of who might be doing this?" Ni asked sitting at the bar I just came from. Kay shook her head "Dark hunters for sure. the light wouldn't dare to hurt the supernatural unless you hurt a human... have yall?" she asked curiously. I finally removed the bottle from my lips and answered "nope. I remind you that my family is also light."

I heard faint footsteps behind me. I turned around and faced one of the most amazing girls I have ever seen. she had light brown hair that was in a neat bun. light, soft-looking skin, light brown eyes, full, pink lips. 

after a few seconds, I noticed that we were checking each other out. I ran my hand through my hair and chuckled. she smiled "Dimples." she said under her breath. a human wouldn't be able to hear it. well... you know why I can hear it.

Kay cleared her through, breaking the silence "Nini, Raven. this is my niece Robin" she said pointing to all of us as she said our names. Ni shook Robin's hand and smiled "nice to meet you" Ni studied her for a while. 

"you too" Ni finally said back then looked at me smirking. I think you'll find her interesting she thought to me. I rolled my eyes at her comment and stood to shake her hand. 

when we made contact with each other, I knew what NiNi meant by interesting. 

her skin felt like it was burning against mine. lust, passion, and amazement flowed through my body. I felt connected to this girl.

I looked into her eyes and noticed they have changed from light brown to hot pink with bits of gold.

"Raven!!!" Nini and Kayla yelled.

I snapped my head to them. they were holding on to the tables as the wind was blowing through the shop. shit shit shit I thought.

I let go of Robin's hand and felt like I lost a part of me. right then, the wind stopped and we all relaxed a little. "Ray?" Kay said shocked. "what?" I responded confused. I looked at a nearby mirror and was shocked at my reflection.

like Robin's, my eyes were Hot pink with gold. I squeezed my eyes shut and was hit with multiple visions of Rodin and i. holding hands, kissing, fighting, crying... mating. 

I opened my eyes and was on my knees. "you see what I mean?" Ni asked smirking. I nodded and looked over at a confused and freaked out Robin. "so wtf just happened?" Robin's angelic voice asked. I stood to my feet and stepped closer to her.
