This is the basic design for Inu, or dog demons.  (pronounced: EE-new)  Depending on breed, the dog-half can be many colors/shapes.  This particular lady is a Rottweiler.

While I don't have sketches of a fully-transformed Inu (yet), I do have a bit of details I can give.  Like most demons in the world of mine, they consist of three "tiers".  I'll explain demon tiers in more detail in the next chapter, which will clear up a few terms.

First Tier Inu:  Can completely take on human form, making them nearly indistinguishable from the human population.  They can still be detected by scent, though.  Inu can also transform into a dog (type based on their breed) about the size of a small horse.  Inu have two main abilities: teleportation and acid.  They have limited range, depending on their level of training, and can only teleport to places they've been before.  The activation of the ability is always accompanied by a swirl of wind, likely caused by the energy gathered when using the technique.  An Inu's acid is their main weapon, and can range from a simple irritant to extremely corrosive, able to melt flesh in seconds.  First tier Inu are capable of utilizing the full range of their acid, and with training, can become immune to its effects.  Acid is usually produced in the hands, or as saliva when in dog form.

Second Tier Inu:  Can take on human form, but are unable to transform into a dog.  Their acid can be strong, but nowhere near the level of corrosion a first tier Inu can produce.  Some second-tiers can become immune to their acid with enough training, but most only have a slight resistance.  Second-tiers have a smaller teleportation range, but usually have good control.

Third Tier Inu:  Cannot take on human form or transform into a dog.  They have dog-like legs and tails like the Inu above.  Their acid, if exposed to enough of it for long enough, can cause serious damage, but it isn't very strong.  They have little to no resistance to their acid, and have a very small teleportation range.  Control varies, but most third tier Inu have very little control.
