As you've probably guessed, the name of the country the story's taking place in is Albon (pronounced al-bun; the "al" is pronounced like the al in alligator). No, it's not an island. There's more land north of the mountains, but that area isn't key to the story (read: I was too lazy to bother making more landmarks than I really needed to :P).
You may notice that a few cities are labeled as "Divisions" or lil Rosenburg in the north. The Divisions are the 6 branches of Albon's government, each one headed by a Commander. Each Division has a role, maintaining different parts of the government. More details about the Divisions and their Commanders will be given in a later chapter focusing on them.
There are also some small settlements visible in the Claw Mountains. These are home to the Onikuma (pronounced oh-knee-koom-ah), or bear demons. They aren't exactly on good terms with Albon, mostly due to their repeated attempts to take over its territory. The Onikuma are made of multiple tribes, though most are found in four main tribes, distinguished from each other by the color of warpaint and accessories members of each tribe wears.
Last but not least, there are three ancient settlements, crumbled by time, that rest in locations resembling a large triangle. Their origin and purpose are unknown, but are rumored to have been created by a long-forgotten species.
