"Mack, my place, right?" asked Kayla.
"Uhh Yeahhh sure!" I smiled reassuringly.
"Great!" she said leading me to her car.
I jumped in her car waiting for her to get in. She had phone call so she took it outside.
"Dude! Dump her and just go for her!" whispered Jai to Luke.
"No! She doesn't like me, I dont think... Anyway Selena will be crushed!" Luke replied looking around. He looked in my direction and saw me looking. I saw him bite his lip as I turned around to see Kayla smiling.
She opened the door and made herself comfy.
"Ready?" she asked as I nodded.
"Lego!" she giggled as I chuckled.
As we drove to her house, I kept thinking about what the boys were talking about, the girl.
Who was it?
Why did he like her?
Was Selena not good enough?
Will Selena come crawling back to me?
I was broken out of my trance by Kayla.
"We are herrreeee!" she sung as she opened the door.
I got out and saw her beautiful, modern, big house.
We approached her front door, which was large and white. The edges were slightly darker, more of a grey than a white. Then there was a small gold handle and a big gold '16' sign. I smiled as she used her keys to open it.
We walked upstairs and into her bedroom. It was black and white. One wall was actually a window with black curtains on either side.
It had a silky covers and pillow cases on the bed and a long HD flatscreen TV. Her room was so perfect, Barbie would be jealous!
She plonked herself onto the bed as did I.
"So, lets start!" she said rubbing her hands together and looking around her room for materials.
A Few Hours Later....
"Annnndd Done!" she sighed flopping onto her bed.
We stared at our work, with pleased faces and messy hands.
"I'll go and wash my hands." I stated heading towards her bathroom.
As I came back I heard slight whimpers.
"Whats wrong?" I asked Kayla who was sat with her head burried in her knees, weeping.
"Luke!" she spat.
"What about him?"
"He likes another girl!" she cried throwing her hands in the air.
I hugged her and rubbed her back until she had calmed down a little more.
"I just miss him, you know?" she said as I nodded.
"So what do you want to do now? Its only 7pm and we have finished!" I asked.
Me and Kayla were completely friends now, no, best friends! Strange world right? Yes, before you argue with me, I know the expression is 'Small world, right?' but I said strange world because I wanna!
"I don't know! Something...." she sulked.
There was a silence until we both muttered "crazy..." making our eyes light up with.... I don't know, joy? That feeling when your friend sings the lyrics to some song that is stuck in your head,and your all like;
'OMG I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT JUST HAPPEND!' and you have that funny feeling? Yeah, that feeling.
"DYE!" I shouted.
"A bit harsh, don't you think?" She laughed.
"No, dye our hair!" I smirked as she nodded.
"Wait... Im fine with my hair, but you can dye yours." I suggested as she repeatedly nodded.
"But its 7pm! Where do we get dye from?" she asked frowning slightly.
"I found some in my bathroom this morning, I think my mum had bought it. Some had been used, so I asked if I could take it and she said yes, so two options!" I said taking a breath at the end.
"Okay, what colours?" she asked.
"Well, we could dye your hair, pink or purple.."
"PINK" she screamed.
After dying hair..
"You look amazing!" I said in awe.
She looked beautiful with green eyes and pink hair... I was actually jealous of how perfect she could get and how I am..
"Shutup! Your so pretty too!" she smirked.
"Sure!" I said sarcastically, as she rolled her eyes.
"This will draw Lukey's attention back..." she bit her lip in the mirror.
So she wants to look good, for Luke? With her being that pretty she would get him back too! I felt sort of upset about her getting Luke back, I think I've developed a small crush on him, but nothing that wont blow over in a couple of weeks...
"Whats wrong?" she asked.
"Nothing just thinking.."
"About?"
"About nothing..."
"TELL ME IF YOUR MY FRIEND!" she demanded.
"Well, If you and Luke get back together, would we still be friends?" I lied as she sighed.
"Of course, chica!" she giggled as I fakely smiled.
"Well Im going to leave now!" I said rising off her bed and grabbing my things. I walked off and went home.
I got home showered and changed into my pyjamas when I realised I had left my phone in Kaylas house. I chucked on some jeans, a white long sleeved t-shirt and a blue flannel around my hips before walking off into the darkness, back to Kaylas house.
I approached her door and recieved my phone from her mother. I then walked back down the road. I heard rustling behind me and In jumped and turned around. As soon as I did, soft lips were placed onto mine. Im not sure why, but I kissed back. I pulled away to see... Luke? Luke stood there smirking and sniggering.
"What the hell?" I yelled, not daring to show him how much I loved the kiss.
"I was on my way to Kayla's house when I saw you, you look beautiful by the way!" he grinned but I rolled my eyes.
He is just my CRUSH.
I wont want him later in life.
"Thanks, but Kayla still likes you, and unlike Selena, I wouldn't betray a friend!" I said.
"You betrayed me by telling Kayla!" he snapped.
"I said a friend! Not some stupid boy that wants to see every girl naked!" I yelled a bit too loudly.
He rolled his eyes.
"Well, have fun with Selena!" I sighed, walking off.
That kiss was perfect, sadly, so enjoyable, but we just simply couldn't be together!
The feeling of Luke's lips on mine was so good! Ignore those stupid sparks or fireworks, it felt like the moon had just exploded in your face!
"AFTER I GET KAYLA BACK YOU WILL WANT MEEE!" shouted Luke down the road.
I didn't turn around, just shook my head.
Truthfully though, I always did want him....
