View point: Deceit, first person.
I could here all the light sides having breakfast upstairs. God, they are so loud and obnoxious. They make so much noise and I can never sleep in. They always get up so early too. If they weren't so loud I'd be asleep all day, but then I would still have Remus waking me up. When I heard the sink running and the laughter and talking died down I knew they were doing the dishes, so I went downstairs. When I got to the bottom of the stairs and walked into the kitchen Virgil looked up at me and just looked so scared.
"Now what did I do?" I asked him, but when I did Roman looked up from doing the dishes and stepped between me and Virgil.
"What are you doing Deceit? " Roman snapped. Patton looked at what was going on and had just a confused look on his face.
"Roman, what are you doing?"Patton asked.
"Protecting Virgil," he answered. I had no idea what happened that made Roman think he had to protect Virgil from me. What did I do? Yes, I've done a lot of bad things, but what did I do this time? Roman wasn't like this yesterday, so this happened over night.
"I don't need your help Roman," Virgil said pushing past me and Roman. He went to his room and slammed the door. Seriously, what did I do? I went to Virgil's room when no one was looking and knocked on the door.
"Virgil if you don't let me in I will use my powers to open the door for you," I threatened. He opened the door and I could see that he was a mess.
"I thought you talk in lies," Virgil said, sarcastically.
"You know I can control it, I wanted to talk to you and I didn't want my lies to get in the way," I answered. He opened the door wider and let me in. He sat on the bed and I stayed standing.
"What do you want to talk about?" He asked. I took a deep breath.
"What is up with everything? Roman suddenly got really over protective and I know I have done a lot of bad things, but he was not like that yesterday, I never could have done something over night." He just looked at me for a few seconds, almost as if he was trying to figure me out. Or maybe tell if I was lying or not.
"So, it wasn't you," he mumbled after a long pause.
"What wasn't me?" I asked.
"I had a nightmare last night," he said.
"What happened in it?" I asked as I sat next to him on the bed. He looked a bit wary, but he was willing to tell me.
"You were there, and you...." he paused for a moment, a tear ran down his face. I brushed it away,
but that just made Virgil confused.
"Don't tell anyone I'm trying to comfort you, or I I swear to God I don't know what I'd do," I hissed. Virgil smiled and laughed a bit. It made me think of when he was younger when I was his father figure, not Patton. Back when he was a dark side and he never knew who the good sides were. Back when we all cared about each other and we weren't enemies.
"You killed me," he muttered as I was in the middle of a thought. I just looked at him in shock. Did he tell Roman about the dream, so was that why Roman got so over protective? Does Virgil or Roman think it was just part of one of my evil planns?
"What?" I said. There wasn't really much to say.
