"How many points do I have now?" I asked nobody as I slowly jogged throughout the somewhat wrecked fake city, trying to remember how many robots I had destroyed and their point value.

Memory: Bitch you thought-

I started hitting my head, hopefully forcing my brain to remember. Curse my short memory!

"U-Um..are y-you al-alright?"

I immediately froze, my arms still in the air above my head when I heard a small stuttering voice near me. 'Did they see that? They didn't see that.' I inwardly panicked as I brokenly turned and saw the person who directed the question at me.

He was small and had thick green hair which was paired with pretty forest green eyes.  Did I just say pretty? Oh god what's wrong with me?!  'Damn he got muscles though, the hell?'

"Ah, I'm s-sorry!  I didn't mean to s-sound rude!"

"No-no It's fine, I didn't take it that way.." I frantically waved my hands in front of me, not wanting him to get upset.

"O-Oh good." The green-haired boy sighed in relief, then looked back at me, his green eyes wide in realization.  "Hey, you're the sunglasses guy!"

..Really?

"Uh..yeah."  I muttered, shoving my hands in my pockets and looking away in embarrassment.  I really didn't wanna think back at that.  The boy seemed to realize that because he then sputtered out an apology and bowed several times, in which I spent about two minutes just trying to make him stop.  I really don't know how to take apologies and compliments!

"Anyways what's your name?"  I asked him once he'd stopped saying sorry.  "Ah, I'm Izuku Midoriya!  What's your name if you don't mind me asking?"  He seemed genuinely curious so I told him, "I'm Hisashi Tzuki, nice to meet you Izuku.." I said, not realizing my little mistake.

The said boy's face exploded in a red blush, and his eyes were wide.  I looked at him with concern-though unseen by him because of the sunglasses-and shook him lightly.  "Hey, are you alright?  Did I say something wrong?" I questioned, worried that I messed up.

See?  You already fucked up.

How expected of you, trash.

Can't do a single thing right, can you?

I visibly wilted at the voices' words, they were probably right..

"N-N-No! Y-You didn't do a-anything wrong! I-I'm just not used to y-you saying my first name!" Izuku stammered out, wildly waving his hands in an attempt to bring my spirits back up. "Oh..sorry." I murmured, then suddenly remembered the time. Izuku became startled by my sudden change in posture, seeing as I jolted up like a pole with my hands in the air.

"WE ONLY HAVE FIVE MINUTES!"

"Huh?-WAIT WHAT?!" We both screamed and immediately ran around together looking for robots, but it appeared as if the other examinees had destroyed them all. I fell down on my knees dramatically, raising my face to the sky in silent fake tears. "We're gonna fail!" I screeched. Izuku apparently thought the same because he joined me on my knees and started crying with me.

*BOOM*

"What's that?" A giant building crumbled before us, and multiple others fell along with it, creating deep craters in the cement and cracks on the surrounding buildings. I looked up in horror as I saw what had done it. The machine was ginormous, a dark murky green color and probably weighed as much as Godzilla or something.

'So this is how I'm gonna die.' I thought blankly, watching as it's large metal foot lifted and charged its way down right above me. I couldn't move, the fear forcing my muscles to lock up and shut down any attempt at moving.

A sudden force slammed into me from the side, and immediately I was launched in the air, the feeling of weightlessness doing nothing for my stomach. Just as I was about to hit the ground, I landed in someone's arms. 'Who the hell?' I looked up and saw my savior, my mouth open in a light gasp.

"Don't worry Hisashi, I've got you." Izuku smiled down at me, his arms tightening around me and I grasped his shirt in fear of falling, even at such a short distance from the ground. It felt kind of weird being carried by someone shorter than me, especially since I wouldn't expect them to be strong enough to even do it. Izuku is truly a strange person, saving someone he just met.

"Thank you."
