Luna's p.o.v.
When I woke up the next morning, Dominic and his car were gone, and a very hungover Sage was laying next to me on her phone.
"Good Morning drunky," I said.
"Sup bitch," She said as her hands went to her head. I'm sure she had a raging headache.
"You were pretty drunk last night," I said.
"Ditto."
"How did things go with Parker?" I asked excitedly. I was totally shooting for this.
"Fine. We spent most of the night getting to know each other. He's really cool and funny. I like him a lot," said Sage. I raised my eyebrows.
"Nothing else happened?" I questioned
"No. He's interested but I shot him down."
"Sage WHY?! He's so hot." I said
"It would never work."
"Not with that attitude." I replied.
"I don't wanna think about it. How are you and Dominic?" asked Sage
"What do you mean? He and I fought at the end of the night because he called me crazy, but then we made up. James and I really hit it off though." I said, as my drunkness had worn off my anxiety was coming back. But I was also excited, xanax would be needed.
"Oh. Interesting." Said Sage
"What's interesting about that?" I asked.
"I figured you would end up with Dominic by the end of the night." She shrugged as she sat up in the bed.
"No, Dominic is just a friend. Plus he definitely has no interest in me. James, on the other hand, made his interest very clear. And, well, he's cute, and I decided I'm gonna try to actually date someone." I said.
"He didn't just wanna hook up?" She raised her eyebrow.
"Nope. I was surprised, too. He said he wants to get to know me. I'm actually kind of excited. I've never given a guy a chance like I'm about to give him."
"What made you decide to give him, or I guess, dating a shot?"
"Just thought it'd be fun," I said. The truth is that I don't know how long I'll be alive for. The amount of drugs and alcohol I consume is unhealthy, and I have self destructive tendencies that I refuse to address. I need to experience a boyfriend before I die. I've experienced friendship, but not a relationship. Maybe I'll learn something new about myself from being in a relationship, too. I just think it's something I owe to myself.
Just then my phone buzzed, and a message from James popped up.
James: Can I take you out tonight?
Luna: Of course! Pick me up at 7?
James: Sure.
"Guess who has a date tonight?" I asked Sage with a smile.
"Wow! Already?"
"Yep. I guess he's not fooling around." I said,
Sage's p.o.v.
I smiled at Luna. I was happy for my friend. I then stood up to go home. I wanted to go sleep off this hangover in my own bed, and leave Luna to get ready for her date. I needed a ride so I called Dominic. He picked up right away.
"Hello?" He said.
"Hey!" I replied.
"Sage! How do you feel? Are you doing okay?" Dominic asked. Worry laced his voice.
