Izuku exhaled as he finished making dinner. Putting his usually stoic, emotionless, face on, he walked into the living room.
"Dinner is ready," He called, a smile gracing his face when Zero smiled warmly to him. The greenette walks to the dining room, slightly happier than before.
~~~~~~
The three sat down and shared a quick Itadakimasu . Hisashi was the first to begin talking. "So, Izumi ," the greenette flinched slightly, "have you been keeping to your training? I hope you've worked yourself harder now that you have 2 quirks. Both very... hmm okay I guess," their father continued. Izuku's ears twitched at that. The small bit of confidence he had in his quirks earlier today completely vanished. Gone like the wind.
"Yes father." Izuku replied carefully. The young boy really had stuck to his father's special training regimen. It was engraved in his mind for 4 years by Hisashi, before he left. He had stuck to it every single day. Not that he had much of a decision in that. Izuku still remembered the paper his father had given him with his whole day planned out on it. It was either follow it or regret it once you got home.
Hisashi hummed. "Has your Iaido improved?"
Izuku gulped down the ball in his throat. "Yes... I believe so father".
Hisashi narrows his eyes., "I guess I'll just have to see for myself later on."Thankfully, dinner ended quickly. Izuku quickly grabbed all their plates- Zero thankfully helping. The dishes were done shortly and efficiently. Hisashi narrows his eyes at them as they leave the kitchen area. "I'm going out with some... old friends. Be good." He didn't say anything after that, but they could both hear the unsaid 'or else' that graced that statement.
Once Hisashi left, both Izuku and Zero sighed in relief. They glance at each other.
"So... what now?" Zero asks.
Izuku hums. "I mean...""We left your room alone for whenever you came back. It should be the same as you left it." Izuku said, walking down the hallway, Zero closely following. The eldest brother chuckled slightly.
"Of course you wouldn't touch it," He smirks, taunting his little brother playfully. Izuku turned away and squeaked slightly, his eyes turning pink.
"Shut up!" He said, flustered, before opening Zero's door.
Wow. It really looked like nothing had been touched. But of course it has. The year after Zero left, Izuku would go to his brother's room and play music, cry, sleep- usually a mix of all three. But Izuku had always put everything back perfectly. Truly, that boy was a perfectionist. Zero suddenly lit up."Of course! Izuku, go get ready, we need to go visit the fam!" Zero exclaimed, a smile lighting up his face. Izuku had to resist the urge to facepalm. Of course! How could I forget? I'm so stupid.. The small greenette nods and rushed to his room to get ready.
