Here I am again, Caroline thought to herself. She was laying in her bed, with the cover wrapped around herself, starring up at the ceiling. She didn't bother to get up, why would she? If she got up, her mother would confront her. Liz still wasn't happy that Klaus wanted to come and celebrate Christmas with them.
Everyone that knew Klaus, thought that he was a vicious monster. Tyler hated him because he killed his mother, Elena because he wanted to make hybrids of her blood, Damon because Klaus almost left him to die. Everyone had a reason to hate him. Even Caroline had reasons to hate him, but the problem was...she couldn't. This man might be a monster, a murderer...but she couldn't stay away. She was in love with this man, she was in love with Klaus Mikaelson. A smile formed on her lips as she thought of him. She could almost imagine how he laid there next to her, looking at her with those irresistible eyes. She had her eyes closed as she continued to think of him, the smile grew wider and wider on her lips, until she heard someone yell from the kitchen."Damn it!" Liz yelled, she looked down at the floor and there was hot chocolate everywhere. She walked to the kitchen counter and grabbed a towel, then she sat down on her knees and began to dry the chocolate away.
Caroline heard her and used her vampire speed to blur into the kitchen, she looked down at her mother. "Mom.." She sighed and sat down next to her. She took the towel away from Liz and wiped the chocolate away from the floor. Liz slowly stood up and looked down at her daughter.
"I...I just wanted to make some chocolate for you." She said and sighed, she started to clean up the shattered glass that was now laying all over the floor. Caroline got up and left the towel in the sink, then she started to help her mom to clean the mess up. "You know how it ends when you are in the kitchen." She said and flashed Liz a warm smile. Liz couldn't help but emit a soft laugh. "I guess I'm lucky to have you here then." She took the shattered glass and threw it into away, then she turned around and looked at Caroline."So, when is Klaus coming?" She looked at Caroline, raising a brow. Every time Caroline heard Klaus' name, something lit up inside of her, like a burning flame. But now she felt both happiness and sadness. "I don't know." She said after a moment. Klaus had promised to come before Christmas, but still he wasn't here. Caroline knew that he had a lot to take care of in New Orleans, but a promise is still a promise...right?
Caroline walked back into her room, she walked to her window and looked outside. Snowflakes fell down from the sky, in less than an hour Mystic Falls would be covered in white, shining snow. She walked back to her bad and sat down on it, she grabbed her phone and looked down at it. There was2 missed calls from Bonnie. "Right." Caroline said and sighed. They were going to decorate Damon and Stefan's house. It was Christmas evening today and tomorrow they were going to celebrate Christmas with everyone there.
Caroline got up from the bed and walked to her mirror, she looked at herself. She looked like a mess,so she brushed her hair, put her make up on and then she got dressed. Once again she looked at herself in the mirror, she finally felt satisfied with her own look. She left her room and went into the kitchen. She gave her mom a hug and told her where she was going. She put her shoes and her white winter jacket on, then she walked outside and started to drive towards the boarding house.
