Rita's POV:

I like the dark. There's nothing that you see in it so you can imagine this little world of your own as you lay on the bed on your room. I like to imagine the things that won't ever happen, the things that only happen in the movies. It's like my little getaway from everything, from the world. 

But tonight is different, tonight I can't escape.

Tomorrow is the first day of school and I can't sleep. I can't even think straight. 

Well, at least I'll have Mia. 

-phone vibrates- Speaking of the devil -she giggles and picks it up-

R: Hello?

M: Hey you.

R: Hey Mia, whats up?

M: Nothing, just checking on you. Nervous?

R: Yeah, a little. You?

M: No. -giggles- What are you gonna wear tomorrow?

R: I don't know..

M: Come on R, you gotta go with something good. It's the first day of school.

R: I'll think of something..What will you wear?

M: I was thinking of wearing that black skirt I got for my birthday and a cute shirt I just bought yesturday. - giggles- I'm still mad at you for not coming.

R: I'm sorry, I just had to finish this book before school started cause it's soo good and you know we'll have no time when it starts so I just had to skip it. But I'll go with you next time. Besides, you went out with Lucy later so I think you had fun without me.

M: Rita, if you think hanging out with Lucy, the girl that keeps ruining everybodies relationship just out of fun is even something to call a fun hangout then..

R: - laughs- Okay, okay. I owe you.

M: You're damn right you do. -laughs-

R: Alright, it's late and I gotta go. God, I hate the first days of school..

M: For the same reason why you hate it is why I love it! Can't wait to see those cute juniors that'll start going to our school..To think of all the little virgins just makes me-

R: Alright, I'm gonna hang up now. Byeeeeee.

M: Bye babygirl.

-she hangs up-

I love Mia but that game the girls started over the summer is totally not my thing. And neither it's hers. I don't know what happend to her but I guess I just got used to it. I mean, she is a cheerleader now and her captain is the biggest slut of our school so I guess I do understand where the sluty outfits and the same behavior is coming out. But Mia isn't like that. She doesn't dress up like them ; her ass isn't ever showing, just her legs. She doesn't ever have a cleavage in her shirts like those girls do and she is still staying true to converse which is the only reason why I accept the new dressing up. Just kidding, no matter how she dresses up, she will always be my best friend. I know her heart and she isn't a slut, nor will she become one. She's just not that kind of a girl.

Well, I should get some sleep. Or at least try. We all know the feeling before school starts..Both excitement and nervousness are taking over your body and your mind, you can't sleep cause you keep thinking of what you'll wear and what impression are you gonna make. Well, not me. I don't really care what people think of me. As long as they leave me alone, I'm good with everybody. But don't blame me for thinking of those girls the way I do. Every single one of them has slept with at least 5 guys in their whole highschool year and it's not even ending yet. Yet again, I really don't care, as long as they don't talk to me or anything.
