Since many of us are stuck in our houses, here's an extra long two part special. Also doubles as an almost 10k reads special.

"Hey, Y/N! Are you getting online tonight?" My best friend Jungkook slid up next to my locker, brushing his fringe out his face.
"JK, how do you see out of those bangs? You're starting to look like pre-2010 Kate Gosselin."

"Hey! I didn't judge you when you decided to get a fro-hawk and wear polo shirts and cargo shorts everyday in middle school!" He laughed.
~~~ *Flashback to 6th Grade: Meeting Jungkook*
JK has been my bestest friend of 5 years. In 6th grade, I moved and started at a new school where I was quickly deemed the school weirdo because I asked everyone for their chicken patty sandwiches at lunch (they were not real chicken) and wore the same pair of rainbow toe socks for two weeks straight. I ate at lunch alone every day until one day, Jeon Jungkook, president of the Gamer Guys Club at school, asked if I was using the chair next to me. I thought he wanted to sit with me but he just pulled it with him to the next table over so his friend Mark could sit down at his crowded lunch table. Mark came up to me to ask me a question that day and I thought he would invite me to sit with them, but he just asked if I was going to eat my carrots then took them back to his table to share with JK and some guy named Jackson Wang, who was the most popular guy at school. I started to think no one wanted to be my friend because I was chubby and didn't brush my hair and sometimes wore frog pajamas to school, until one day a miracle happened. Jungkook was playing Nintendogs on his Nintendo DS at lunch and said he forgot his charger at home. He said he needed a charger urgently because he was in the middle of taking his chihuahua, Peanut, for a walk in the video game. Lucky for him, I was listening in on his conversation with his friends and had a spare charger in my backpack. As I reached over to grab the charger from my backpack, I knocked over my whole lunch tray and my chicken patty sandwich flew into some random guy's hair who was sitting across the room. He didn't mind though; that random guy gladly ate my sandwich and left me lunchless.
"Are you okay, Y/N? You're pretty well known around here for loving chicken patties," Jungkook looked at me worriedly. A stray tear threatened to spill down my face, until I felt a hand pat me on the back. "It's okay, Y/N! You can share my lunch with me! My brother Jin packs me one everyday!" He beamed.
Since that day, JK has been my best buddy. I became a fellow member of his Gamers crew and even made friends with two other kids in the club that are still my besties to this day: Mark Tuan and Mark Lee. I call them "The Two Marks" because they are always "Mark-ing" around the school together.
