She is the daughter of Adam and Barbara. She was put in foster care when her mom and dad fell through the floor. She was living with her friend when this happened. They had an horrible argument after she found out about her moms miscarriage because they didn't tell her about the baby she thought they were hiding it from her to replace her and let's just say the argument didn't end will and she never got to apologize and tell them how much she loved them. She was taken in by the worst foster family that hurt and assaults her. She decided there was no point in life and she stopped talking and became a selective mute. Her foster parents forced her to changed school after she finished the school year so that no one would know her and her foster family don't let he see her friend so she feel like she has nothing. So when she started her new school she has hit a real low. Not able to make friend because as people call her a mute freak. However there was on girl that showed her kindness her name was Lydia. She brought her a dry ease board so they can communicate and they became friend. However Cathrine keeps her at arms length so her froster family doesn't find out about her. Cathrine hasn't told Lydia about how her family passed or where she used to live but Cathrine does know the Deetz are the people that live in her old how. She also developed a crush on Lydia but she keeps it to herself because she doesn't want to ruin the relationship they have. But the girl biggest secrete is that she can see ghost she is strange and unusual like Lydia is so that is why they click. But no one not even her parents know about this. She thought she would be shunned by her only family if she told them so she kept it a secrete. Little did the girl know that this is going to come in handy when she goes over to spend the weekend. She is also close friends with BJ. Even though he doesn't know who he is the demon can always sense when she needs him.
