Chapter 5

I quickly finished my dinner, and ran back upstairs. I checked my phone and smiled when I saw at least five texts from jackson.
"He played a prank on the principal and got caught, he's suspended for 2 weeks 😂"
"bruh sELENA GOMEZ WAS ON THE RADIO AND NOW JUSTIN BIEBER IS THIS IS A SIGN"
"AKAKEKDODOWJWBC"
"LOOOUUUIIIISSSS"
"WHERE AAAARRREEE YOOOUUUUUU"
I laughed as I read the messages, and called him.
"LOOOUUUUUIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSS!" He yelled into the phone.
"Well someone had too much sugar." I said sarcastically as I closed my bedroom door.
"MY MOM JUST BOUGHT ME THE MOVIE IF I STAY" I winced as he kept yelling, it hurt my ears.
"Really? I love the book!"
"Yeah! Lia is busy studying so i have no one to watch it with, and I can't watch it on my own. I'll be an emotional wreck. I'm soooo looonnneeelllyyyyyy" He whined. Well if there was one thing Jackson was good at, it was complaining.
"Well I don't have time to watch a movie, but you could come over for a bit. I got something and I need your help, I need to know who gave it to me." I laughed.
"One little problem, I don't know where you live."
I face palmed, I could be so stupid sometimes.
"I'll text you my address." I said.
"Okey dokey! I'll be there in a bit." He said and hung up.
I texted him the address and put on the tv, watching The Fosters as I waited.
I heard the doorbell ring fifteen minutes later, and then Angela yell "Lou, someone is here to talk to you!"
"Just tell him to come upstairs!" I yelled back.
I heard footsteps come upstairs, a door open, and then a door close again.
"Where are you?" I heard jackson ask.
"Right here!" I yelled as I opened my door.
He walked inside and sat down on my bed. Someone didn't have manners. Oh well, I just ignored it.
"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" He asked, and I closed my door again.
I opened my closet door and grabbed the dress, showing it to him.
"Okay, you bought your sister a dress...?" He looked a bit confused.
"Look at this." I handed him the note, and he started laughing.
"Wait, so you want to tell me, someone bought this...for you?" I frowned. He thought it was funny. I actually really liked the dress.
He noticed I was upset and stopped laughing.
"Do you know who could've bought this for me?" I asked him.
"Oh, yeah. It's easy!" He said, staring at the note.
"Weeeelllll, who is it?"
"Harry, duuuhhhhh! I could recognize his handwriting from a mile away. It's him."
I turned bright red. From both embarrassment and anger. He was playing a trick on me. He wanted me to be upset because nobody special had bought it for me, when in reality; I was just pissed.
"Look, just ignore it, okay? Harry's just trying to bother you. He has a girlfriend anyways, he's trying to get you in a huge fit about the dress just so you can humiliate yourself. Don't wear it. He probably has something planned to embarrass you." He said as he handed the dress back to me.
"Okay, I'll just keep it in here. At least until I know what to do with it."
I shoved the dress back into my closet and sat down next to Jackson.
"So, I drove for fifteen minutes because of a dumb dress. Let's do something fun!" He smirked while looking at me.
"Like what?"
"Prank your little brother?"
"I'm not good when it comes to pranks."
"Hmmm....I don't know then." He shrugs.
"I have an idea...but you might not like it." I frowned.
"What is it?" He asked right as rachel walked into my room.
"Gosh, learn to knock!" I yelled at her.
"Oh, so this is Jackson-" she started to say until I cut her off.
"What do you want?"
"I want my Desperate Housewives dvd back. Julia is coming over to study." She said.
"You watch desperate housewives?" Jackson asked as he raised an eyebrow.
"I guess." I shrugged.
"Hey, rachel, can you do us a favor?" I asked, looking at Jackson while smiling.
Jackson just looked at me confused, knowing something was up.
"Yeah, what is it?" She asked.
"Could you...give me and Jackson a makeover?" I asked, trying to hold in my laughter when I saw the look on Jackson's face.
